One thing I notice about all these undergrounds on the tour, how clean they all look, so much better than London. Those churches over there are also so impressive and big too and that statue may have been falsifying history but what a work of art that was and the muppets get everywhere! Nice to have a local guide that provide all the knowledge and history but even a local guide cannot predict that rain. You all looked like drown rats but that chocolate museum mist have raised the spirits. Given you were all wet, the baths was a great idea, despite overweight men in speedos - I get everywhere! The evening cruise was a great way to end the day and the city looked amazing what it was all lit up, cheers Alan

That vision of men in speedos is hard to shake off! You would have loved the baths, about 10 different pools, all different heats, 10 hot tubs basically!! You are right about the undergrounds, they were all clean, safe, and fitted in with the history. All the buildings had great history, but the chocolate museum was a great shelter and there were samples - Prefer Rowntrees and Terry's though - We didn't get Eddie's weather that day, in fact the lightning was quite a sight for 15 mins. Hoping to do 1 more video of the rest of our time in Budapest and then refresh - Many thanks for watching and commenting, Alan, regards Andrea and Ashley

Budapest looks a really interesting place with lots of history. Loved the river cruise in the evening. The buildings all lit up as you were heading along the river looked great. Cheers. Eddie.

Thanks Eddie, a great city for a short break, good transportation and lots of walking opportunities. Full of history and tremendous buildings but the river cruise was definitely our favourite. Thanks for watching, regards, Ashley

Quite a whole different perspective on the river cruise! Those would be very historic views as it more than likely would have been the major transportation route in years gone by. And look at those night views...very cool!

Thanks Bruce, the river cruise was our favourite part of the visit to Budapest and the views of the Parliament buildings were spectacular. Lots of history, culture and arts to explore here - more to come later!! Regards, Ashley

Hi Guys. What another beautiful city. Those baths looked amazing. What fantastic architecture…….as well as the men in their Speedos! 🤣 The river cruise looked brilliant as well, seeing all the buildings and bridges with their lights on. Have a lovely weekend, all the best, Dave 😀

Thanks Dave, I'm just back from Parkrun where I ran 25.57 - respectable!! Budapest is a 5 star city, so much to see and do, something for everyone. The Baths was one of those things the tour books say you must do so we did it. Definitely a different experience, must have been 10 different pools all at various temperatures, we tried them all off course. Lots of tourists there but also lots of locals so it's something they must do regularly. The River Cruise though was one of our favourite things on the whole trip, great food and great views, and lots of banter and craic with the group. More to come later!! Thanks again for watching, regards, Ashley p/s saw you with Dave Ostle last night!!
