when in japan you can use their luggage delivery service to and from the airport or even if you have to transfer hotels...i know the struggle is real lalo na the japan metro sobrang daming stairs and me wala gano escalators and lifts..i last tine i was there is used luggage agent which i found in klook! :)

Tip Ashley. Always best to get internet (airport has it) use your phone to navigate using google maps. Its has all trains, bus, even uber different ways you can navigate with exact time and even the prices of fare. You can search by cheaper route,fastest route, fastest time..etc. You can even pick which route you wanted to use vs different mode of transportation. Japan is the easiest to navigate country using public transportation but I could not have done it without googlemaps. If you lived in shinjuku, there is a bus that goes from there to the airport, your luggage will be under the bus (no hassle) so i prefer to use the bus vs trains or taxis when going in and out of the airport.

cheaper alternative wouldve be by airport limousine bus, they have a station in shinjuku, so you shoulve taken a taxi from your hotel to the bus station then the bus will take you directly to the airport for a cheaper price of 3000yen

Take a taxi going to shinjuku station/express bus to Narita. Pagdating sa shinjuku station sakay ka ng elevator paakyat 4th flr nandun po express bus station to narita airport o pahatid ka sa taxi sa kahit anong bus station along the road na lang po.

You should have rode Narita Express instead. There are trains from Shinjuku to Narita. Much cheaper than taking a cab. It’s just like the Keisei train you guys rode when you arrived, just a different line.

Airport buses are very convenient and bus stops and/or terminals are very convenient to almost anywhere as well. They have a porter pa for the luggages and usually P2P rin.
