@@eminemdebomb I know this is really old, but 5SOS's rise to fame has literally been documented online since the very beginning. What more proof do people need? They had multiple interviews a day, all learned multiple instruments & honed their skills on their respective ones and took voice lessons. How many other bands can one say have actually "shown their work" to the public? I don't know how most other bands truly formed that I like. I imagine most people have no clue, so to pick on one of the few bands whose origins are clearly available all over KZbin, the forum on which this is being debated is truly asinine.

I like both bands equally and I love it when I come across stuff like this. I see it as some of my favourite bands interacting with each other which is never a bad thing. ATL is such a popular band especially within that genre and its cool that they can create more exposure for 5sos, who are a fairly new band. And it's also great that fans of both bands can get on the radio and ask questions about the interactions within the band. Alex and Rian didn't seem bothered by the questioning about 5sos, so why should we?

i fucking love 5sos, im a huge fan, but ive been a fan of all time low for at least five years and it does make me cringe when 5sos gets mentioned so much in their interviews, just as much as it annoys me when one direction get mentioned in 5sos interviews. however, for all the people sending hate to 5sos for being mentioned in atl interviews, do u think thats what they want? its not like they asked to be mentioned, i kind of feel bad for them and atl, its embarrassing and awkward. its the goddamn fans tho. its always the fans, and the band takes the blame for their actions. its sad, but its the fans that often give a band a bad name, and thats fucking ridiculous, but its the way it is. and unfortunately, 5sos does have some particularly fangirly and shitty fans sometimes, even though i find the majority to be lovely and respectful. but some just arent. but you cant choose ur fans i guess✌️
