Two pair of jeans, extra undies, t shirts and blouses for the days that I'll be there, definitely toiletries and minimal make up bag. Carry on bag as well.

For a week or more? (I travel with my dog) Groomer, vet, have my cat nails professionally trimmed, do my haircut, check weather, pack snacks, do laundry, deep clean the kitchen/fridge and bathroom, organize my living areas, cover the sofa, make a list for the cat sitter, pack for my dog and I. We travel often so we have Packing Lists for a variant of lengths and locations, and weathers, we visit. But for anything over 5 days I will make and order with the nearest pet store that caries her food and do a store pick up the first or second day.

Your water bottle reminded me of one of my pre-travel routines. I always fill up my water bottle before leaving the house, and I drink it on the way to the airport before going through TSA. That way I make sure I'm hydrated before the flight (and it's enough time to go to the bathroom before boarding). I usually also refill it at a water station once I'm past security.

I’ve started using ginger chews instead of gum on flights. They’re very chewy, gluten free (tapioca base) and settle stomachs because of the ginger. I recently found out that plastic is an ingredient in chewing gums (it’s in the gum base so it’s not even listed as an ingredient). I probably get enough microplastics in my foods so I’m definitely switching to the ginger chews now 👍🏻

I travelled through three countries in Europe for 6 weeks in a carry on and a personal item. They were both so fully packed (and the carry on was always under the weight limit). Still I feel you packed much less than I did. Definitely great packing, Ashlynne!

As someone who grew up using film it seems so odd that anyone would chose to do that now !! 🙂Mind you I feel the same way about records. It's always harder to pack when you have different weather to take into account. I'm super impressed that you only used carry on.

I enjoyed this pack with me, I would probably still leave one or two of the sweaters behind and just take one with me. I use to be a serious overpacked, but now that I am a flight attendant and indulging in so many back with me I know that even though I can find reasons to wear just about everything I bring I still just don't need it. this is especially true as a plus size packer too.

I love that!! So essentially it’s just a spray that makes things water repellent, so they don’t absorb as much moisture. And it works great too! And the plants are all well! The terracotta dispensers works perfectly and I came home to thriving plants!

You could pack better, travel lighter if it is a place with as much temprature changes as my moods, you got to took layers! Layers i say. Tank top or sports bra, then t-shirt then long thin sleev then something like a sweater and finaly a Rain, wind coat. Take two of each sets and One pair of good trakking Snow or waterproof shoes or boots and a pair of sleepees or wtvr you on América call them 😂 like flops
