It all depends upon how we maintain the truck. Cummins engine can be reliable if driver of the Tata truck drives in proper manner and service is done on right period of time which most of the Tata truck owner doesn't do it. That is why there is high maintenance after five years. Cummins engine is a foreign technology so we have to maintain it in a right way for longer period of time for punchy performance. I am a fan of Tata scr technology because it creates less pollution but I know I have to pay little high price for it. I do it for my planet earth and future and present generation.
