Wow! You are amazing Mike. Your rendition of this song has me mesmerized. You are one of the best I've heard. Because, I can't sing, I look for songs I can finger pick on my Ukulele. I really appreciate your tabs and backing track. Thank you. I have been practicing playing your tabs for quite a while, and each time your smooth playing makes me relax and smile.

AWESOME! Started tabbing it out on my own, then decided to YT it to see how others are playing it - and found your great rendition - that's makes it easier for me and "Koa", the Kanilea. Many thanks - new subscriber!

This is the loveliest version I have ever heard of this wonderful tune! Would it be possible to have the tabs, please? I've struggled to play this for over 2 years, and it still sounds awful!!! Thank you

Hi Laura. If you look in the description you will see a link to a free tab. There is also a link to the backing track if you are interested! Mike

This is beautiful. I have clicked to get the tab that you have so generously offered and was confused that the tab that I got is not matching what you are playing in the video. Is there a different version? I would be happy to pay for the version you play here. Thanks

I just looked at the tab and it is the piece played in the video. So I am a little confused now!!!!

I absolutely love the way you play Ashokan Farewell, but I am rely struggling with how you finger pick it...I can see your thumb plays G and C, but I have no idea how you do the rest and I am so frustrated that no e is "bitty" and I cannot make it flow like you do! Please, please can you explain how you do the PIMA thing! Thank you

It is just practice Laura. But I suggest you place your fingers on the ukulele as follows: Thumb on G string( make sure thumb is forward of other fingers). First finger on C string. Second finger on E string. Third finger on A string. Then just practice very slowly and deliberately Playing an arpeggio from the thumb through the first, second third fingers and back. The strings should play GCEAECG. Then rest and continue playing this very slowly and deliberately. Best of luck!
