Thank you Liam for a great visit to Titchwell. It was so nostalgic for us. We cannot travel anymore but our favourite place to holiday was the north Norfolk coast. We watched Titchwell develope over about 3 decades from when Norman Sills, the original warden, made major changes to start it on it's journey to what it is now. We saw so many "firsts" there, including Marsh harriers, Bitterns and my favourite Bearded Tits. I can see from your video that there have been even more changes since our last visit. Thank you so much.

We thoroughly enjoy your wildlife videos. Your enthusiasm and knowledge are delightful as is the area you walk. Although we don't live in East Anglia, we live in Shropshire on the Welsh Marches, my family come from Yarmouth, so I love to "visit". On your recent video A Winter Wildlife Walk, your first featured bird was a thrush; and you commented that you didn't think of it as having a song. Being a poet, and loving poetry I thought I should quote you a few lines from Robert Browning's "Home Thoughts from Abroad" " That's the wise thrush; he sings each song twice over, Lest you should think he never could recapture The first fine careless rapture!" We all have our own opinions, but please reconsider your view on the Thrush's plaintive melody. Looking forward to your next walk Best wishes Deborah

Lovely video Liam. I used to go to Titchwell Marsh regularly when I lived in Norfolk and I saw some fantastic birds there. Some rarities that I was able to catch up with, such as Blue-winged Teal, Long-billed Dowitcher, Pectoral, Buff-breasted, White-rumped and Baird's Sandpiper, Penduline Tit, Northern Harrier, Whisked Tern, Gull=billed Tern, Surf Scoter, Coues Arctic Redpoll, Purple Heron and Spotted Crake, serve to illustrate what a fantastic reserve Titchwell is. Did you notice the Spotted Redshank which put in a brief appearance as you filmed the Curlew? This footage brought back memories of my days spent birding in Norfolk. thank you so much for the trip down memory lane.
