HIGHLY appreciated. These medicines grow naturally & independently of our input. They are widely available. We must preserve and pass on these skills for those who come after, if we are to remain sovereign...

I made a painting of Bertha Skye this week. I'm finding indigenous practices comforting with the state of things today. I've never been to a pow wow, but I'm braiding sweetgrass.

Lovely Bertha, I put cedar healing oil on my puppy, with coconut oil, apparently fleas don't like it. He likes to smell the pine when we go walking, so I bought some pine needle oil for him to smell from the bottle.

Do you drink the tea from the burdock or rub the tea in your hair & on the nails to help with thinning hair? How do you use the dandelion roots for arthritis? In a tea?

I would like to know what kind of cedar this is, I've searched and it seems that many trees are called that way, especially in Nort America. Thank you.
