Cmdr Ashtar is a truly special soul. He cares deeply for his mission and his crew, even sacrificing his health to be present and on mission. When the time comes; he will take time to regenerate before he appears publicly. He is far too devoted to take time out now. I believe when asked why his appearance was so old; he said; its been a very busy 50 years and that was several years ago. He is the oldest body on that ship because he will not leave post for the time to regenerate.
