+soulripper31 but if you pay attention, his technique in discus isn't very fluid, and he doesn't get a good angle of release. If he could work on getting a slightly higher angle and making the discus fly flat rather than tumbling around mid-air, he could easily go past 50 metres

TXV1300R Yeah, but they need to train for 10 different events, he doesn't have the time to be good at everything. Decathletes need to find the right balance on what to focus their efforts on. Most points can be earned with the sprint and jump events.

+soulripper31 true, true. I'm just pointing out a few obvious flaws from which he could improve on, and since he can break world records with an amateur technique, he could get many more points if he fixed at least some of the more prominent flaws in his technique
