@@valerieash Jeanty is generational and the Zeke pick was home run. The problem is we paid Zeke too much once his rookie deal was up and ran his legs into the ground. I think we should have Jeanty split carries with another back to save his legs but still have him be our primary rusher

We could have drafted Ramsey in that draft and he would have brought more value than Zeke did for a longer period of time. There are plenty of RBs that you can get in the 2nd or 3rd round. Draft smart not flashy. I would not use generational talent to describe the RB position. With that said we do need to run the ball a lot more and limit Turnover Dak throws

I didn’t say you said that, you said he didn’t have high miles. Saquon only missed one season (2020) and Henry was half a season (2021). Jacob’s lowest amount of games in a season is 13 games. Besides the missed seasons Saquons lowest was was 13 and Henry 15. Despite injury they’re almost always there.

Jeanty can fix a lot of what is wrong with the OL and take a lot of pressure off of Dak. If he's there at 12, I'd take him. There might be higher rated players on the board, like WRs, but I think the only reason they might be rated higher is because of position value. There could alo be higher rated DTs on the board, but a very good RB can score and can move the chains. I wouldn't be pissed if they took Jeanty. To me, it's different than taking Zeke. I never thought Zeke would have been taken so high. He never had moves, never any shake and bake. He went to "the best OL in football" and DeMarco Murray also had tremendous success behind that line. Jeanty can make people miss, and when your OL is not "the best OL in football," then you need that. Jeanty seems to bounce off tackles and has a natural feel similar to Emmitt.

All depends on how you feel about the fall off from Jeanty to say a Treyveon Henderson/Nick Singleton. I'd say Kaleb Johnson and Omarion Hampton but I don't think they make it to our pick in the 2nd. If your round 2 WRs are a significant falloff from Burden/Egbuka then go WR and get you a Singleton/Henderson in the 2nd.

Who they draft is dependent upon what they do in FA. If they sign Stefon Diggs we'd have a #2 WR and drafting Jeanty would make much more sense. If they don't bring in anyone in FA, and I doubt they will, then it's a toss up. They need help at so many positions it's not even funny.
