How much of a difference would you say the newer quads have over the older quads like the ltz400

Power wise it’s a huge difference, handling tho isn’t crazy different unless your comparing to a yfz. As long as your comfortable on either one you can rip thru trails

Sounds like you need a tuner or a tune for the Ecu it’s backfiring and breaking up on you sounds like it’s running really lean

400ex or ltz400 is always a solid beginner quad, if your younger and never rode at all before I’d maybe go with a 250
