Half short and full short fault finding Step by step solutions Nobody can solve 100%, we can try Step 1. Open the back panel, then remove battery. Step 2 :- check the battery voltage, if no voltage, boost it. If battery voltage is above 3.7V, Then move to the cold testing Step 3:- keep the multimeter across battery connector, if beep sound comes, then it is full short Step 4:- remove all the sheilds with the help of smd rework station and do eye testing and microscope test. If you can't do, report to the customer genuinely. Step 5:- Connect it with DC machine, black probe on CC connector, Red probe to Positive points of all sections one after another Step 6 :- If you feel heat while checking with plus point, that point has some fault. To find it clearly, we apply rosin on any section with the help of soldering Rod. White colour shade kind of layer forms over the IC. Step 7:- Now touch the positive probe of DC ( 1.50V ) on VBAT section, whatever IC evaporates the rosin, that IC only has problem. Step 8 :- Generally Power IC shows problem. If heating comes from power IC, then we need to do cold testing with Multimeter. To do that, clean the section with IP solution, then find out the fault Step 9:- If beep sound comes in all the Inductors around the power IC, then the problem must be in the power IC. Therefore power IC need to be Removed and clean the interface with soldering Rod with flux slightly. Step 10 :- Now check the components, around power IC section, If beep sound comes on inductor from ground point, then the problem remains. Therefore remove all the boost coils. Because inductors are always in parallel connections. Therefore from ground point beep sound should not come Step 11:- Again apply some Rosin around the power IC or somewhere else. If you find any heat over anywhere remove the heating components. Step 12. If you find anything heating, then replace it with new one or reball it. Step 13. Again make cold testing around IC. Step 14:- check whether shorting comes in the CPU or Not. Step 15:- Always remember the nose cut point before removing the IC. If shorting is removed after removing the IC, it is ok. After that, we need to reball the IC. Step 16:- Apply reballing paste and clean it with soldering iron. Remove extra lead with wick. Step 17:- Check which one of the IC is good and which one is not. Change the new IC which is completely short even after reballiing

सर, मेरे पास एक samsung galaxy j2 pro ka handset है जिसमें नेटवर्क का प्रोबलम था मै एक मैकेनिक को दिखाया था मैकेनिक का कहना है कि नेटवर्क IC खराब है। और IC मार्केट में उपलब्ध न होने के कारण रिपेयर नही हो पाया। फिल हाल हैंडसेट मेरे पास है उसे ठीक करने में कितना खर्च लगेगा? कृपया जरूर बताएं। धन्यवाद।
