Today we'll review how to beat the Artifact Material Raid! I'll cover this dungeon with my main heroes on stage 18 as well as stage 17 using all epics (and 1 legendary) hero. Enjoy!

The top-corner spawns don't become powerful when they cross the line; they become powerful when they merge with another spawn, which happens right about that point of the map. :) If you put a defender there who just blocks them, the next wave will merge with the two already stalled and they both become super-spawn. Anyway... the best way to deal with them is to have a fighter kill them quickly... which is what you said. I like to wait to place my tank until after the boss has crossed his toe into the tank square, because then he counts as being in both squares, and can be attacked by up to 4 fighers. It's also worth giving a shoutout to Lightlock, who has the range length that Vortex does, but he also can do some damage to enemies surrounding his target. That can actually help out with the minions if your Fighters have occasional slip-throughs.

Upgraded olague and use him for tank and I use Silas as the dps. Instantly went up 3 stages after watching this guide cheers dude.

So a major tip that I got from another CC (I forgot who) is take hold off placing your tank until the boss is standing right in between the last 2 squares by the blue crystal. That way you can pile on 4 fighters from the sides 😉 It takes a little bit of practice to get the timing right, but it's not hard to do. If you mess up, just restart!

Thanks for the help it turns out my strategy was weak I just placed all my fighters and defenders next to the boss while I could have done THIS great stuff, just great cleared Stage 18 still need to tweak my Valeriya to get the best possible time but a win is a win

I know this is a little old but I found swapping the healer with hattsut like he mentioned for DPS to kill him quick works very well. Way better than cuke. Her ult comes on quick too. If you have her of course.

thanks. used this to beat 16. now once rng happens on the replays, cuke does put his trap and may block the right side defender but since you have power of dominance, you can to the run again manually, put fighter on both sides before you place cute and they melt like Alka-Seltzer.

@@ASHWatcherofRealms oh a tip that I actually picked up from HHades in case people want to DPS the boss faster ------ if you wait for the moment the boss steps in the last tile of the tank.... the boss gets in range of normal fighters siding the tank to hit the boss as well ....... in my case this came in handy as hell :) thought i'd share

Must give props where props are due. I was able to clear AMR 18 with putting cuke in for first bit then subbing him out for vortex, then later once cuke was available again summoning him once again. Thanks for idea much appreciated.🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉

You make lvl 17 look so easy and I can’t do the same at lvl 14. I guess my hero’s are not strong enough or something changed on difficulty

Very helpful content. For future ideas, can you talk about the strategy between a hero and artifacts? There are some videos out there regarding the best artifacts but those are too general. In addition, for FTP or low spending players, we don't have all the best artifacts. So it will be very helpful to get your insight, for example, if taking Wrath's skills into consideration, maybe tell us what are the 5 legendary or mythic artifacts that we can select from. Maybe I don't have Scarlet Hunt, what's the next artifact should I consider? Make it more hero-specific if you could.

Wrath can used Watchguard's ambition ( chance to trigger another basic attack ) or Slayer's Malice ( 10% damage increase when HP above 80% ) both are legendary, due to his skill set as self sustained fighter at awakened 5. For mythic artifact, Scarlet Hunt only useful when you have other hero that can cause bleed, otherwise it's useless, i rather go with either Wailing Skull for more damage or Lunacy Visor for more survival. Just make sure Wrath had enough attack speed to spam those.

stage 13-17 can use skreef or cutter (2* poisoners) if u don't want poison traps from cuke ruining your placement. im happy um able to beat amr18 recently after gear swapping so deimos can dos away while being able to live during aoe atk of boss. nice vid always 🔥

Fighters is my team's biggest weakness so im stick on 15. Hopefully after this i can at least do 16. Edit: putting valkyra and aspan on the sides pointed down did the trick. I was doing the exact thing he said not to in the video of bunching everyone up at the bottom Edit 2. First try to beat lvl 16, and then 17. Ive been stuck on 15 for weeks. Guess I do have enough good fighters. Silas on the platform helps.

I use Silas on the tile and I get the boss to 30% after his ultimate is done and then I swap him for a healer, much better then cuke

i appreciate the effort but unlike other games besides having a good strategy you just need to wait for levels and gear in this game due to simple fact - not enough raw attack - no damage, no good damage type - also trouble, i am day 3 in this game and completely locked behind having no great mage for GR-1 and therefore i can't progress past stage 11 to give two of the crucial parts of gear to everyone on my roster ;(

I mean sure this is a guide, but your placements are kind of B Tier placements. 1. You could point Abomination Towards the boss as when he is ulted he will be able to reach the boss, so you're losing damage there. He will turn around when those minions come his way. 2. Technically Valk should be where Abom is facing the boss. Arrogance should be where baron is facing the boss. Then you have 5 DPS attacking the boss, 2 of which will turn around for any mobs. 1 tank to stop boss, 1 healer, then 2 fighters, 1 in each corner.

The only non mythic artifacts you may need is idril's gaze and keen knowledge or whatever ancestral teaching is now Even some mythic artifacts aren't all that so sell them for mythril The artifact material to promote Idril's gaze might be worth it instead of doing 20k runs Definitely won't recommend buying mythril

Thanks Ash , I was stuck at 18 but this guide made me do it first try , starting with DPS then subbing vortex did it for me , I used Silas he got the boss down to 50% before subbing vortex and the rest was easy , simple idea but it never crossed my mind. Great guide as always 🔥🔥

Save mythril ---> never invest non mythical artifacts , it's not worth it

the % attack epic is prettydamn good, and a good startup investment. This is mainly due to the fact that it gives the % attack as a more multiplier when the buff is triggered. So till you get lategame mythics, it's king

Idril's Gaze may be the best Marksman artifact in the game, especially for Marksmen who have low base ATK like most of the Epics.

It depend on the skill set of the hero itself and the game content you're trying to clear, also it took a while to clear AMR 18.

Just compare the base stats of a 5 star level 25 legendary with a level 1 mythic ---- no bonus overtakes that much of a stat difference
