Let that player rest as he can't take part in the game further. Or Whatever injury it is, allow a substitute to take part in the game instead of an injured player.. This is not the 1st time Concussion rule has been bent. They have already done this before in Australia. Replaced Jadeja with Chahal who turned out to be the MoM. But the interesting thing was Jadeja was limping that day, agreed he was hit on the helmet and was able to play after that ball, but these people used that and replaced Limping Jadeja with Chahal.

Concussion subs names should be at time of toss, but... Let the team give 3 names. If concussion injury happens to any batter automatically nominated concussed batter will walk in.. Same for the bowler automatically nominated concussed bowler will walk in.. If concussion injury happens to batting allrounder, then nominated concussed batter will walk in.. If concussion injury happens to bowling allrounder, then nominated concussed bowler will walk in.. Therefore, why not eliminate the "like-for-like" concussion substitute rule entirely? Instead, a central, independent medical team could monitor players after head injuries and determine their fitness to continue. If the medical team deems it unsafe, the player would be withdrawn, and a fielding substitute, as with other injuries, could take the field.

Yes, completely agreeing with this. Like to like couldn't be made as each player is unique. Let's say if hardik is injured then we can't replace him with ramandeep or even harshit rana, as both would be unfair. So if concussion happens best is to have a fielding substitute and just accept that the team is unfortunate on the day. Or it is best to make a decision by involving everyone including umpires and opponent captain.

Hi Ash bro..Munnadi Supersub concept irundhuchu in ODIs..so like PDogg mentioned we can bring the same rule (substitute) to bring some parity for both the teams and clear confusions.

It is neither fair nor unfair. They just used a loophole in the rule, but the rule should be reconsidered. Pdog made a valid point.

Four suggestions for concussion sub, 1)Three concussion sub (batter, All rounder, bowler) can be nominated before toss from both team. If batter injured then batter can be replaced from the above nomination and vice versa. 2) From the existing rule, Opposition team captain acknowledgement also can be added. 3) Orelse Purely onfield umpires and match refree has to jointly take calls with skill level of like to like replacement and to be informed to opposition captain. 4) orelse if a batter is replaced by bowler he should be allowed bowl 2 overs only. Or if bowler is replaced by batter then he is allowed to bat only 4 overs or allowed to score max of 30 runs. - this is only during unavoidable circumstances where there is no like to like replacement in the squad.

Concussion sub : if the player is Injured if he is 👉Batsman replace with another Batsman (if batsman is short then WK-batsman) 👉Bowler replace with another Bowler (if bowler is short then BowlingAll-rounder) 👉 All-rounder replace with another All-rounder (if All-rounder batsman is short then WK-batsman) 👉 WK-batsman replace with another WK-batsman (if WK-batsman is short then BattingAll-rounder) Concussion sub should not taken in favor of the innings (batting or feilding) for ex: while chasing , any player is injured then bowler should not be taken-in untill the injured person is bowler

Hello anna a batsman gets concussion means should be a bats man is replace. Similarly for bowler also. But if its happen to an allrounder either batsman or bowler or an allrounder can replace. 😮😮🎉😊

Their will be at least 4 players in the bench normally . So before the match when they exchange the team list , give names of the concussion substitutes for each player.
