Really well done with this rather broad topic! I learned quite a few new things - thank y'all. Haha at 54:07 - your pronuciation of many names of things/places was rather...well, I'll let it slide~ I live in China now and have lived in Japan and Germany (and Canada and the US) previously, so let's just say pronunciation for non-native speakers of some (most? all?) languages can be a pickle. What other future topics, you ask? I'm curious about Russia and Alaska. And after learning about the Germans leaving China for Chile, well anything about the west coasts of North and South America. Perhaps more about European colonisation - both growth and demise - in the Pacific. Did the Spanish end all their endeavours in the Pacific after the Spanish-American War?

Having now finished the entire episode, I can recommend shorter videos (not Shorts, by any means) of certain, particular theatres. Also now interested in more about Vietnam, Cambodia and Thailand over the years. Good work, guys!

Thank you so much, the video is a compilation of older videos edited to be a longer documentary. Since making this I have made a large effort to better pronouncing Mandarin, but alas it is difficult haha. I am at the mercy of things like google translate for phonetics. As for further episodes, the channel was following a chronological order of China-Japan history 1830-1945, but now I am trying to do episodes on anything remotely related to the history of the Asia-pacific. Will be doing pieces soon on the Philippines, Malaya, India, etc, trying to diversify the experiences of people in the conflicts.
