@@alexoolau我觉得你也没仔细看。最后这两个女生是根据“印度语言太多，没有官方语言”这个已知的东西来推论美国也应该同样没有。而不是之前知道或者背过。另外记忆力强大是智力的基础，毕竟没有记忆的物种很难传承文明。

Me surprise also, seldom know that Hungarian believe and practice Buddhism. Now days, Buddhism have known and practiced in most of European countries, America, Australia, even in Africa. Not in Asia only. Because its teaching is universal, one doesn't has to be a Buddhist to practice Buddhism, that's the different and unique of Buddhism. The most popular practice that have been practiced by Buddhist and non Buddhist is meditation. Sabbe Satta Bhanvantu Sukhitatta (May All Beings are always be happy). Sadhu...Sadhu...Sadhu.

Religions are stories to comfort people who are being kept away from the truth and satisfy their need to understand the creation, while also being a part of the community where people lick each others asses with affirmation. Humans are herd animals and thats why its possible to dominate us despite our outstanding capabilities of understanding. Cognitive dissonance will always keep the majority in check, because if the evidence is pointing to the brutally harsh truth, people willingly seek the lies to have anything to distract them from it.

One thing I observed from all these 'Q&A' questions about geography is most people don't know about capital cities of countries. I guess geography should be an important subject to be taught in schools. Also getting into NUS is not difficult. And it isn't terribly stressful in there.. But of course it depends on the mindset and what you want to get out of the entire college experience.

The thing is geography as a subject isn't necessarily only about the awareness of countries and locations. Its about the study of Earth, the natural phenomena, landforms and people.

@@user-fi9sn2jx2o I have absolutely no idea about the current curriculum in Hong Kong but during my time World History, Chinese History, Geography and EPA ( Economics & Public Affairs) are all mandatory courses in Secondary 3. Moreover, I went to a Catholic school so Bible study is also a mandatory subject. Altogether 12 subjects sans PE back in the 90s.

我太太是中醫師，但是大多不會連讀，通常會本科畢業生後執業一年累積診症經驗再讀碩士，其間繼續診症，我太太就是這樣，考了碩士後，隔兩年再考了博士。

Getting into NUS isn't that difficult really, it's maintaining academic performance to finally attain a first class or 2nd upp hons that proves to be challenging, also depends on whether you have a difficult major or not. The thing I'm surprised though there are people who do not know skin is the biggest organ when it's so personal, the rest you can either forget or you really don't know or can't be very sure. Eg. the 2 ans that I've which I'm not so sure is "Madrid or Barcelona , because the countries of these 2 are next to each other, and I'm non-european", and the one on USA's official language, I thought it's English since it's so commonly used but then using English is also commonly spoken in English yet it's not our national language so I suspect it may not be the answer.
