His voice was like a fine wine, it got better and more mature with time. I saw them in 2007 & 2012, both concert in second row! This video doesn’t do justice at how powerful his voice was in concert. By the way, he sang all of the songs in their original key, and he even went higher on some of the songs to emphasize that particular part. Amazing!

Oh this song makes me cry and get goosebumps EVERY TIME I hear it! The song itself is a masterpiece. Whether it's John W., John P., or Lake singing it, it affects me just the same. Why? Because the song is pure genius! And that there is what makes John Kenneth Wetton, the writer of this piece, so special. He nailed it with this one, in my opinion. I aspire to write like this. We used to do this in my old band.. I know this is song is extremely difficult to sing. It takes A LOT of lung power and here he is not only singing it but also playing with the melody in ways that improves over the original but makes it that much harder. John Wetton proved himself as one of the greats of all time.
