I'm Micronesian. Guam....Chamorro Pride. I have to say for a tiny Island it has endured so many atrocities and still the people are one of the most hospitable people in the entire world. My father would feed a stranger. When people came into our home they always left with a full belly and happy memories to last a lifetime. My happiest time in my life was living on Guam. I tell my children and grandchildren that my backyard was a real jungle and we had the best fruits and vegetables. Nothing like living in paradise.

As a West Melanesian with descent from the Maluku Islands West of New Guinea we are also pretty underrepresented even within Indonesia itself.The Eastern Islands such as the Maluku Islands and West Papua as well as the now Independent nation of East Timor all have Melanesian ancestry too.

Melanesian.....Did you make that up? As a Melanesian, that had me cracking up but the other black guy, the light skin guy, referred to it as the pigment of the skin 🤦🏿‍♂️. My guy, that is the melanin 🤣🤣🤣. Meanwhile others think Polynesian is a fictional group of people created by Disney and Micronesian is just having small knees. Like majority of Micronesian islands are small, Polynesia=Many islands and Melanesians off of the black soil islands in Melanesia… but then again, we have those types of soils in some places in Micronesia too so it could also be a description of the peoples skins or coincidence lol.
