I’m 6’1 and the last guy I dated was 5’7ish 😂 The tallest guy I’ve dated was only like an inch taller than me, if that. Height is absolutely not a deal breaker for me. It would be kinda nice to have a guy who is taller than me, but I actually find myself most attracted to, and attracting, guys who are a few inches shorter than me and who aren’t phased one bit by the height difference. These bodies of ours are, after all, only rental vessels courtesy of our Mother Earth 🌎🌍🌏

Yeah, I don't have a problem with height either way. My ex was almost 6'2" and I'm 5'7". I didn't have a problem with it cause was never an issue to me. Personality is way more important. An extremely beautiful person can be mean and someone that is considered unattractive can be so sweet and caring. Better to look at the person than just the package. 😁✌

Yes there's emotional damage, but most of it dispeared when I started working on myself: workout, working hard and becoming higher value each year, working on my mental health, etc.. It may sound cliché, but it's working amazingly for me, I became a lot stronger mentally/physically, and working out infinitely increased my confident in my look/body.

Like Jaby says, my Asian half (my Mom is Filipina) has never given me compliments. It was always “you can do better,” or just “do better” as a demand. However, as I’ve gotten older, I’ve found out what a little liar she can be, especially to people when I’m not around. Then, she says sweet things and makes up the most interesting things that I’m up to, including (but not limited to) people I’m dating (but not), places I’m visiting (but I’m not or I’m just talking about), jobs I’m working (even though I’ve had my own marketing agency for 7 years - she wanted me to be a nurse😏), and even future family plans (I’m not making). It’s great stuff (usually), just fabricated to sound “better.” Asian parents are something else. 😆
