Asian Dub Foundation's unique sound, powerful messages, and the band's incredible diversity have been the soundtrack of my upbringing. To my luck I had the opportunity to meet key band members like Aktar, Ghetto Priest, Steve Chandra Savale, Jammaz Jamz, and Nathan Flutebox Lee - at the Womad Music Festival in Las Palmas, which was an incredible experience by itself for me. Their humility, boundless positive energy, and down-to-earth personalities not only left an indelible mark but fuelled a deep inspiration within me.
This documentary is my attempt to share a glimpse of the incredible individuals behind ADF with all their fans. It's a journey into the hearts of the people who make ADF what it is. Most of the live footage showcased here is from that unforgettable day at the Womad Festival, shot, produced, and edited by me. I hope you enjoy this labor of love and get a taste of the magic that defines Asian Dub Foundation.
