Love the fact that when Mark is trying to work, you see Micah’s hands reach in for some Roti bread and and he keeps his composure, and he doesn’t even edit it out. The vids are so professional, and yet so personal. It’s what I love about this channel!

Just goes to show Micah has had an amazing upbringing. Alot of kids are fussy or picky about food, but that's because they're not introduced to things from a young age, where as micah has got to experience so many foods and cultures already in his life. Could easily see him doing what mark does or even becoming a chef as I mean he'll already have an unparalleled knowledge.

I lived in Thailand for a year ages ago nothing beats that kind of street food and you can eat for a buck amazing flavors bursting your mouth. I've lived in Japan for 30 years, food is good, balanced, and has all the right colors etc. but for me nothing is better Thai street food!

So glad you did a "vlog" about this market! I LOVE this place! My wife and I just watched it together. We miss this, we're too far from Chiang Mai to drive in on Friday A.M. We used to go there a lot. You're so right; a lot of things you won't see at other markets! There's some fruits there that I had no idea of. One looks like an orange pear and tastes just like sweet potato pie!

UPDATE ::: Oh my 🥰🥰,, words alone fail me … What an amazing experience I had .. Came back home two days ago and I can honestly say am going back to Thailand soon.. Went around the phi phi islands I almost cried, it is the most zen place I have ever been to.. The monkey beach in Krabi .. We did chillva market, the blue voyage yacht experience to Khai Nai island and Maiton.. Central Phuket is stunning (yes am a woman we love shopping lol) .. The elephant ride and baths oh my goodness.. The people are amazing and sooo nice… Patong beach night life was 🔥.. People don’t sleep… I took a tuk tuk at 6am 🤣… I had the best week… Thank you soo much .. Thailand didn’t disappoint at all… I will definitely come back it really felt like home… Oh did I mention the street food 🙌🏾… Am one happy lady right now !!!! Forever grateful 🥲✨🙏🏾❤️

Thanks for teaching us about Halal, I’m Jewish culturally and I knew about keeping Kosher but it is so interesting to see other cultures food preparations. I did some research on Halal because I was fascinated.

There is a massive amount of common ground between the abrahamic faiths. I’m not sure about about Jews but muslims can eat kosher food as it is slaughtered/prepared in a similar manner to Halal food.

@@voice2voiceless: Well, I'm Jewish but live in a secular district and I buy all my meat at a halal market. They have the most beautiful meat I have ever seen which is actually less expensive than any regular grocery store. Kosher meat is sooo expensive because of small communities.

Interestingly, Mark, I can see some Indian influence. Those fritters are actually called 'BHAJIYA' in India. Bajji in South India. The world is smalĺer than it looks 😍😍
