I just made this, and ate it, and I loved it!! Thanks for sharing this video and recipe! It was my first time steaming something too.

Scrape ginger skin off with a spoon! Don’t slice! Nutrients are directly under skin + no waste. 😊

Beautiful properties! However I could see Sri Lanka real estate market will crash with sky rocketing prices! There are great houses in most part of the US around $200-$300 range!” With all amenities!

You can also use the spoon to remove skin from ginger.

Soy bean source could be 15ml , if table spoonful then 25 ml seemed too much

You may put the cut off ginger under the fish

Why did u use a plate in the steamer? My plate cannot fit

definitely hope you actually washed the green onions...

You are wasted the ginger. You should use the table spoon to scratch off the gingers skin instead of chopping it🤦♀️

This way that slice of fish doesn't tastes salmon anymore.

You failed to say if the salmon had to be thawed beforehand and for how long

This isn't Asian, it's Chinese steamed salmon. There 50 countries in Asia. Japan and Korea doesn't make this style of salmon either

Oh my, u waste a lot of ginger by slicing of d skin like that. Juz use a spoon n scrap d skin.

I don't understand your comment

@@richardmyers1506 Usually we dont peel off the skin of the ginger by slicing it using a knife. We will waste some portion of the ginger. So better to use a spoon to scrap it off.
@richardmyers15062 жыл бұрын
@@haizulyadianwar118 okay, I see what you're saying. I believe there are different thoughts on that. I used to cook with people from China and I do recall some using a pairing knife and barely peeling the skin of ginger off. The one's who did that were older. I'm inclined to think it's about not wasting food but perhaps also about keeping nutrition.
@haizulyadianwar1182 жыл бұрын
@@richardmyers1506 Yup, coz high level of nutrients lie directly underneath the skin
@minhmeo5010 Жыл бұрын
@@haizulyadianwar118 I know that trick but it will take more time, especially with big ginger and I'm too lazy for that. Ginger is very cheap in comparison to my precious time.
