Asiana Airlines B777-200er Business Class: Does It Deserve a Low Ranking?

Nice vid as always! Food looks good, it's better to have a short list of food in the menu and they turn out really good than having multiple options but are subpar.

It gets a low ranking even if it is a 5star airline, as it is no more an independent airline, it is owned by Korean Air since 2021. All the services kept downgraded since then, it used to be one of the best airlines in the world, like in 2010 it was ranked first. Although the service kept downgraded, it still is a good airline. It now have been a 5 star airline for 18 consecutive years(Asiana homepage says 17), including 2024.

That's not a valid reason to be honest. KLM is owned by Air France, Swiss Air is owned by Lufthansa, Iberia is owned by British Airways and they all rank higher than Asiana Airlines. Asiana is head and shoulders better than all European airlines and yet Lufthansa which will take ages to upgrade all its aircrafts business class from that shitty 2-2-2 configuration is ranked higher, Turkish airlines 787 business class is super narrow, like a coffin and yet it ranked in the top 10 because of a chef serving you on board ? 🤦‍♂ Even China airlines and Vietnam airlines are ranked unfairly in the 40s and they are clearly better than any European or American airline both on the soft product and hard product.

@@theshieldhero7062 Yes, you are right, but it is true that compared to other Asian Airlines, it misses out on some stuff, like e.g. compared to Korean Air, the catering and cabin crew is getting worse... but yes, it is a good airline.. but for 40s ranked? But have been 5 star for 18years😄... yeah, the ranking isn't always the right way, but sorry if I said anything wrong

So don't say sorry You are looking at it from a downgrade perspective, which is totally legitimate. But ain't no way most of those asian airlines are inferior than European airlines to be graded so low 😮‍💨
