In 2004, Jakarta implemented BRT system after learning from Bogota. Today, TransJakarta BRT has become the largest BRT system in the world with 1,347 buses run on a total of >250km of corridors throughout Jakarta City.

Metro is better than brt. Brt has less efficiency and high consumption of electricity and need more maintenance. Where as metro need less maintenance, more efficiency and low consumption of electricity. Now delhi has 400km metro and 150 km metro is under construction.

I am from peshawar. This Project is not well designed. There is still traffic conjestion. And in some parts of university road, alot of car traffic lane has been taken up by this project causing more traffic conjestion for those with cars.

I am from peshawar.. it is for unfortunate that BRT peshawar is the worst planned BRT in the world.. the BRT corridors have left the road with several bottle necks which routinely chokes road traffic. and also fingers are raised on the transparency of the project.. the project i believe is a big question mark and blemish on the credibilty of Asian development bank.
