So does more creeps and weirdos. Which is a shame that the mod quit updating. What's even more of a shame another person who wanted to revive the mod made more creeps and weirdos revival mod so we could play it on recent updates, which some one reported as stealing the mod and got it taken down off of cures forge. Bunch of jerks. They are not making any profit plus it's a mod and they give full credit to the original owner. Kind of stupid that there are people out there that want to make sure a great mod stays dead. I mean it's not like the original Modder is coming back anytime soon to update his mod. I'm still impressed that Mo' Creatures is still alive to this day. May that mod never die.

Just a warning with the dynamic surroundings mod: If you have the aurora enabled, it's VERY laggy if you don't have a good computer. You can disable it in the mod options, but I thought I would just warn you in case you start to see frame drops and you don't know what's causing it.

I’ve made myself a mod pack very similar to this, I’d strongly recommend wyrmroost, if you want some different types of “dragon” then this is a great mod without having the destructive behemoths you find in ice and fire. Though I also use ice and fire. Lastly, epic fight combined with epic knight mod and first aid mod basically turns minecraft into dark souls, extremely brutal but great fun.

Sorry if this is kinda TLDR, but i got nobody to talk about my creations with, and I'm super proud of my work, so i finally wrote it down for others to know about it's existence.... I've been playing Minecraft for years, and ive spent the last couple years making vanilla adventure map in creative, i made one half a year ago, and 2 months ago i started one in a massive tundra biome with wide open snowy plains to build on, and i e made massive areas that you can explore, which have hand made boundaries to keep a balanced progression and stop anyone from just leaving, but i worked to make every inch completely stuffed with interesting level design, well done mob placement, tons of loot hidden in every area, and proper structures to match my vision, the first area is a linear area, toppled trees, snow trees in their place made of ice and snow, small caves lining the path, and stray and silverfish spawners, the second spot is even smaller and thin, but has a dragon skeleton at the end, and then the massive ice fortress that looms above in the center of everything with a massive ice spiral at the top will be accessable, the path a few extra content, a small cave below the fortress which leads to the path inside, and behind the fortress is an optional ice cavern area, which is super massive and long, it is super long and has 5 floors with winding paths and holes through the floors and ceiling, bats and spiders spawning in, btw i disabled natural spawning so i could choose what i want in each area, the tall ice cave is super cool looking and took a long time to finish like everything else, it's not underground but is instead a long massive hollow glacier, and after that the fortress is very narrow vertically, forcing you to parkour, avoid phantoms, and wither skeletons and strays, the top has the same enemies including vexes and shulker which where placed in certain spots, like a boss fight, but the fortress, while originally was the big goal, the next areas are just as huge, and I'm still building them right now, once you crawl down to the other side and escape the first area into the open tundra with much wider space, it gets even crazier and chaotic, the path down you find a ghost corpse peirced by an iceicle which spawns ghasts, which i made possible by disabling mob griefing so they can't destroy blocks anymore and float around in the clear dar snowy sky, which i also made permanently snow and night time, by turning off day/night cycle so mobs always spawn, when you go down there's a small frozen lake with upside down ghast corpses dipped inside with their legs sprawling out, to the right there's a small field of giant bones, a hand, foot, skull, and giant horse skeleton which spawns skeleton horses, and normal Skelton's spawn, to the right which leads to the wider areas, is a giant ice worm that is coming out of the ground hunched over, it has a hollow throat, giant curved ice bones curving over it's back, it creates a huge shadow, and has skulls all over it's body, you can eventually climb on its back when you pass another ghast corpse, and there's a small ice drive tower with Strays on top, which leads to the back of the ice worm, to the left of there is a huge spider cave which is done shaped and made of snow, it has a huge spider car ass inside and is filled with webs and spiders. Then north of the original path, is a massive black and white spiral temple, it's pyramid shaped but has no walls, it has 4 outside diagonal staircases which meat in the middle, and beneath is the frozen solid body of a black and white checker patterned creature which looks like a wendigo, the temple is covered by Enderman which spawn on the staircases above, and inside evokers spawn, there are also two more dead ghast corpses pierced by ice, but the ice has black and white pillars attached to their tips now, along with two vex spawners which you see early on as well, each vex spawners is in a single blue I've pillar surrounded and covered by skulls, to keep a theme lol, the top of the temple is small, but there's a pillar in the center that leads to a massive square spiral that has to massive screaming heads on the left and right on the front corners of the spiral, one head is white with dark face holes, while the other is black with white face holes, each has a proper head shape, which was difficult, at the top you fight more evokers, ghasts and wither skeletons for super high level loot. Then after the temple is a new in progress area, simple stone plateaus, and a huge cave structure conveniently covering the area, with holes leading down, so i plan to cover the are with abandoned stone buildings, and the caves are walled off by flesh blocks, or nether rack, and after exploring you'll find a terrifying secret underground, i haven't made it yet but it'll be fun, and at the other side of the outside area, is a massive glowingred eye with a black outline, there's light inside the eye, and i used red shulker boxes to let the light out of the iris. That's what I've been building for over two months, it's my greatest work, and I'm super proud of myself for sticking to it, adding a potion system, where you have empty bottles, and refill them at cauldrons filled with health potions, and other potions for you to choose to help you fight, and allowing you to collect more bottles over time, putting redstone lanterns on every mob spawner, so you can flip a switch to disable the mobs from spawning, eventually this mechanic starts to fade over time though, making the game harder, but I'm considering implementing it slightly in the later areas, other than that, i feel like i made a well balanced adventure map with so many unique ideas, tweaking, and balancing to ensure it is beatable, and you can't skip to other areas, so i had to make a lot of ice and snow walls living the outer rim of each area. The coolest project I've worked on by myself for months.

What I'm looking for, is like a modded pack that doesn't let you destroy or build blocks (maybe just a system to build structures with templates, but very limited to craft or use, to make linear progression). And maybe a mod that spawns small ruined cities, skyscrapers coming out of underground, towns (with contemporary style, like 7 days to die). You know? Like very hard, but very simple, and wanderful to explore. I allways looked for something like this. Maybe is just to hard to make a modded minecraft version that is made to just rpg, not all structures can fit to the terrain they normally spawn on, and it's so hard to find caves that let you get inside with no mining or putting blocks to make your way to the top. I wish I was a modder, a very good one, to make my own pack

how to make this mod pack a lot better - dynamic trees this will make trees a lot better but you need dynamic trees biomes o pleny add on so you can play with well biomes o pleny -fire and ice fire and ice will add dragons and thing like that -Spartan Weaponry and Spartan shields adds more weaponry and shields -Traveler's Titles shows the name of a biome if you go in it -Antique Atlas i like this one better then the min map in the pack so i swap it -Dungeon Crawl adds dungeons -Mutant More adds more mutants there just as good as Mutant Beasts -Better Biome Blend adds better biome blend -EnhancedVisuals gives more visuals -Falling Leaves adds well... falling leaves works with Dynamic Trees too! -BetterNether and Betterend makes the nether and end a LOT more fun -Enhanced Celestials adds a blood moon thanks for rending this

During that gameplay section I can almost hear the conversations. Like the "Oh crap" or when their boat just disappeared I can hear the "Wait what". God this hits too close. It's like seeing the game I used to play get so many updates that it's like a different game. Granted, this was mods not updates, but still. It gives that feeling. I'm gonna try getting the gang back together after this, it's been a while. A gaggle of 6 idiots, roaming and exploring and griefing each other in a whole new world.
