The asics gel Kayano 31s have been a life saver for me, the most comfortable running shoes i have ever worn, ive tried many and found the shoes in the past have given me sore feet, the Kayanos are perfect especially when i found out that i overpronate. Would love to find a pair of trail running shoes similar to the kayanos, but its proving difficult.

I have both the 860V13 and Kayano 30. If i could choose one it would be the 860. The Kayano 30 has too much stabilization which mean's it's not great for general wear or walking. Plus the outsole is pretty slippery on wet pavement where as the 860 is fine. My next shoe will probably be the 860 v14.

Excellent images and video quality as always. Both overview and detail photos are sharp. These shoes look amazing through your lens.

Thanks. That's a great video - very thorough comparison. I've always worn Kayanos but might try the 860s next time if they're a bit bouncier. I just run 5ks normally, some on grass. I'm also known as 'Adrian 2 shoes' as I usually wear two shoes while running.

which is more breathable? which is more stable for person with ankle issues?
@Tony2Shooz3 ай бұрын
I personally felt breathability was the same… tough call for which is more stable, since it’s different methods of delivery. If you can, I’d visit a local Fleet Feet to try them out.

Thanks for the review! Which would you choose for a treadmill run? It’s getting super hot and I anticipate using my treadmill a bit more to escape the heat on days where I can’t wake up early enough to get a cool run in.

I would say generally speaking, the 860 may be more treadmill friendly, simply because it’s a lower stack than the Kayano but both are certainly good options!

The 860V14 has lost a lot of arch support and after 13 versions I think it is a failure. It is not as stable as the past versions.

It’s all relative tbh, I personally liked this version but it’s all good! 😊

Love the clean old school look of the NB. Never liked ASICS, their outsoles are not grippy enough.

You just said everyone pronates and that you over-pronate and then yoiu said some people supinate. That doesn't make sense.

Rest of the video is great.
@Tony2Shooz4 ай бұрын
Aaah ok - I should clarify supinating is also knows as “underpronating” so everyone mostly either under or over pronates… Hope that makes more sense!
