Sounds perfect for the long gravel roads here in Scandinavia.

I’d recommend looking at the ASICS Fuji Speed 3 which is a slightly lower stack and lighter (245g) trail shoe with a carbon plate which is available now for around £125. I have the V2 and find it brilliant for UK trails. Better than the Hoka Tecton X and Saucony Endorphin Edge as it is lighter and feels more nimble.

Sounds a good option for Australian bushfire trails as we come into summer.

Fascinating shoe from an engineering perspective. Very limited use case though, as you guys point out. One might think Asics developed this shoe almost as more of an r&d effort than as a product they intended to make profit on directly.

Should work in southern Europe as well (similar to California )

Compare Terex to tecton 2 and 3

Too bad Asics hates wide feet. 😔

They do on some shoes, but the Novablast and Superblast are great for wide feet

@@soltour87Really? Superblast 2 should work for wider feet? First I've heard! Will check them out if I can find em.
