ASICS NIMBUS 24 REVIEW | NOT A BRICK ANYMORE?

Great review, I have TWO pairs of the Nimbus 24. I tried them in the shop and the comfort blew me away.. But the price was €185 so I walked away.. A few days ago I got a discount voucher for 25 percent so I ordered 2 pairs for 140 each. The Nimbus 24 fits like a glove. I was worried about the weight of the shoe but you don't feel it on the foot. It is now 26°C and I run in the sun and they are definitely hot. One important point is that they are very stable and they give excellent shock absorption. I always need to run with Compressport Calf sleeve or my calf dies after a couple of miles.. Just becomes stiff.. I had 2 long runs in the Nimbus 24 and my calfs are OK without the Calf sleeve.. Might be the stability or the shock absorbing or the combination of this. Definitely not a fast shoe but a good work horse. I am a heel striker and a a slow runner. Probably their target audience.

Great review! Been wanting to hear more about this shoe as I'm very curious with the new foam - FFBlast+. Looks like I'll wait a while for now as it appears it doesn't offer much difference in this version from the Novablast. Maybe the Novablast 3? Good luck with the channel!💪🏻🔥

Regarding womens version being different: softer is due to women preferring that in Asics testing. If I remember correctly the higher drop is due to women in general using higher heeled shoes during their day.

Yes this is the explanation Asics gives but if you consider that a woman can easily weigh half of what a man does and the ground contact between the shoe sizes for men vs women is definitely not double (maybe 25 %) making the midsole softer makes sense. Nike does this as well with lower pressure in the Pegasus for women.

I have recently purchased the Nimbus 24 have run in it a few times, this is a great shoe just the right amount of cushioning and stability in the shoe to enjoy your runs. Definitely check it out. 👍👓🎸

I guess the nimbus lite is wider for stability purposes on the platform whereas the nimbus 24 has the rustic system so it can stay narrower.

@@AlexFilitti I've heard the Monster is STILL firm, like all On shoes, even tho they tried to soften it up. On is a gimmick, and I"m disappointed from what I'm hearing about the Nimbus 24.

ASICS gel shoes have never done it for me. Well made, durable and comfortable but just not exciting to run in. I also always feel that they are unbalanced with most of the weight in the heel. The Novablast 2 though is 😍Can’t wait to try the 3.

Haven't tried the 22 sorry! But this is a big upgrade simply thanks to that new foam that is really a game changer for a daily trainer like the Nimbus

@@caskstrength7629 I'm in the Clifton6 and 8, More 3, and Wave Sky 4. I run through ALOT of shoes. I have my Nimbus 22s for sale. It's the best Nimbus in a number of years, but still meh.
