Fresh Foam 13 and Skechers SwirlTech are the best 8 hour working on your feet shoes. Kayano 29 and K Swiss Tubes 200 are Fantastic for exercising up to 2 hours. Marshmallow Comfort vs. Athletic Comfort ;)

The Asics Nimbus 25's have been put through and against a variety of older and newer competition on this show and a few others many times which goes to show how versatile and well designed they are. Have and like Saucony a lot (their pwrrun system is awesome) but which to choose over Saucony Triumph 20 and Nimbus 25, the one that got me to pick the Nimbus 25 mainly is everything's simply dialed in to most of my preferences.

As Thomas states around 4:05 , the 'More v5' should be a more direct competitor of the Nimbus. Personally, I'd also like to see a stability variant on that wide 'NB More' platform. Something tuned to compete against the Kayano 30. Leaning toward the v3 direction. Softest squish in the world, is not everybody's need.

I HATED the v12. I finally got to try the v13 today, and I have to say that they are a HUGE improvement. Definitely will be getting them!

@@ashleyxctf Hoping to buy a pair here. I couldn't get a good fit in the v12's. I wear 10.52E in the 880v12's and the 10.5 2E were too big and the 10 2E too small. Even tried the regular width in 11 and those didn't work as well.

the nimbus is my daily right now and it is a heavy shoe. i don't run more than a 10k at a time due to the weight and by the time I'm done i really feel that weight. looking for something new. can't find the Superblast in my size anywhere. might give the 1080 v13 a go

1080v13 is very soft and shock absorbing, better for recovery. Triumph 21 is firmer but bouncier, better for daily.

After recently buying the NB 1080 V13 and previously owning the ASIC Nimbus 25, I can say I prefer the 1080v’s as the foam is a little more firm in the mid sole whereas the Nimbus is too soft causing an awkward hotspot on the bottom of my feet. I would recommend the 1080vs for recovery runs and the Nimbus for walks or short treadmill runs.

I have a pair of Nimbus 25's and really like them for recovery and steady runs. I haven't worn the 1080's, but I've worn them in the past and they were always an OK shoe. Neither of them matches the Hoka Clifton 9 which I can wear for steady runs or quicker runs. Much lighter than either.

The 1080v13 has a higher stack and has a new re-formulated foam that makes it softer yet bouncier, I think the ‘more’ in the ‘more v4’ applies to the 1080v13 more

Idk I like the nimbus bc these springy mushy shoes FEEL cool BUT the planet isn’t a trampoline and I don’t think they are the best choice always . If someone has weak or injured tendons the last thing they need is a material pushing into those areas and fighting those areas with every step. I noticed the nimbus was overworking an area that was still healing for me . Sometimes a shoe that feels sturdily ish under the foot is the most logical and best choice . A think the ideal shoe feels sturdy right underneath the shoe and then squishes down beneath that initial layer . That way it’s like walking a solid surface but with the impact absorption benefit . That also allows the foot to push off of it properly rather than be in a bit of a mush . This is probably where hoka is better. Although I find ok having an issue on the inner heel as many have had , other than that the hoka feel is a clear upgrade from a mushy shoe. The mushy shoe thing is a fun experience but I think some people confuse fun for necessary

Seems like a totally revamped shoe. Probably similar to the triumph 20 vs 19. Can’t wait til they are in stores because on paper it might be the sweet spot for a cushioned trainer without too much weight.

Why in the first two runs for the Nimbus 25s as a Clydesdale Runner do I have both the cush feel but also the hot spots. Also does the shoe seem to feel hot? I think I was looking for more of a Bondi/More type didn't think it was more like a 1080.

Seems unfair to compare 1080 to the Nimbus 25. Nimbus 25 can go against Hoka Bondi. I would say 1080 needs to battle the Cumulus more.

I think its just right since the Nimbus and 1080 are the premium daily trainer of both Brands. For me its, Bondi vs More, Nimbus vs 1080, and Cumulus vs 880.

In my shoe store, the Nimbus 25 and 1080v13 are frequently tried on back to back along with the Hoka Clifton 9, Brooks Glycerin 21 and On Cloudsurfer. I personally would compare the Nimbus to Bondi, Ghost Max…but I do understand why people compare them.
