TNR doesn't stop cats from killing birds and it still exposes the cats to many harmful diseases however, and it's unwise to say that she needs to stop feeding the feral cats since isn't that counter intuitive? If the cats have a source of food, they're not going to hunt birds as much because they're not having to completely fend for themselves to survive.

KEEP FEEDING THE CATS, it's really nice and I feel like it makes them less fighty. But make sure they're neutered!!!! Contact a local TNR (trap, neuter, return) group if you need help, they're crazy cat people and are willing to help those who want to learn. Feeding them while they're not fixed will lead to extreme overpopulation which will hurt the cats.

@@drownmered9764 IT DOES NOT. Feeding and TNRing ferals is THE best thing you can do for them if they aren't friendly. Getting them TNR'd will make them less territorial and will stop spraying! TNR helps with cat overpopulation which helps keep many bird species alive. Keeping ferals inside is very bad, they WILL NOT adapt and start being friendly, with younger cats you might be able get them friendly and adopted older cats will not become friendly unless they were abandoned. Plus cat colonies are not bad, Sincerely a person who actually feeds and cares for feral cats (who are/will be TNRd)

I trapped 20 cats two summers ago. My friend is a senior and was feeding all these cats. They kept mating, so I got 20 live traps and transported them to a spay and neuter clinic the next morning. They all got fixed and we released them back home and no more babies. Tnr is amazing! Mars and bones are beautiful majestic boy's.

Devin it sounds like you should get into programs such as TNR! Its a great way to help cats in general, while letting the individual cats still live their lives as happy strays. It stands for trap, neuter, release. It keeps populations down, and the strays can continue living that way without being forced into over-run and full shelters.

I absolutley love that she feeds the strays! We have a feral colony we feed of upwards of 40cats and growing and once you feed a cat its pretty much yours is a very true saying. Glad she does it there should be more who do.

Watching this video makes me cry 😭. I lost my cat, Josie, a few years ago when my apartment got flooded. I tried to save her, but she wouldn’t come with me.😢 I still feel so guilty leaving without her, but the water was quickly rising and I had to save myself. I also feed my neighborhood cats! I definitely recommend looking into TNR and FixNation in order stop the over-population of stray cats in the LA area. I've gotten about 10 cats fixed in my neighborhood and its made a world of difference

OMG! We need more ppl helping stray cats. When you feed a stray cat, i believe it helps them approach ppl and maybe, just maybe someone amazing will keep that cat forever. The last cat i had, i found her on the side of a dumster and got to be with her 12yrs. I spoken to ppl around where i found her and they all said that they fed her but she was a stray. She lived a long happy life with us and never got to eat in another dumpster in her life😁 Thanks for helping the kitties😸

Giving food to strays is an amazing deed and so very kind of you Devin :-). I think you were thinking people would get upset because you don't want to feed WILD animals. Feeding stray domestic animals is a good thing, they need humans to survive so you are helping them. I would suggest looking for a program in your area that spays and neuters ferral cats for free. I know that here in the dallas area we have a program that does it. You bring the cats to them and they will get them fixed at no cost to you (and give them their shots). If they are super ferral, they just release them back into the area that they were (as long as it isn't a dangerous area) and if they are more tame they will try to rehome them :-). Its a win/win. Look into it, that way we know they aren't making any more stray kittens that will then suffer.

I was born a crazy cat lady too. Keep feeding those stray babies, but maybe keep them further from your house, and away from windows. Have some pheromone spray or a diffuser to keep the peace, and perhaps offset some of the stress from smelling other cats outside.

That's what psychics do. They start out very vague and just know how to read body language. As they learn more and more about the personality of a person, or animal in this case, they get more specific. It's all a scam really where they just know how to read little things you do and/or say then use it.
