Pamela McInnes Hi Pamela, he is purposely “ dry,” and “low key” I also believe the sunglasses serve a purpose. It is as if he is a fly on the walll or “ wallpaper,” if you will. He is focussing on the interviewee, completely giving each individual the space to be themselves. This is my interpretation anyway ;D

He’s just asking the question. Literally nothing else. It’s a man asking such a simple emotionless question which causes the person to feel the never ending urge to explain themselves further. It’s an interesting technique.
