Ask a local? They're not even Londoners. With all due respect, but they're young adults from middle class family's out of London. The real east enders started to move out in the mid 90s, like myself, my grandad used to sell handmade rugs til 93 down Hoxton market and we used to live next to balls pond road. Back then a small Jewish community was still existent, not anymore though. I went there recently and didn't even recognize it.

One of my favourite travel hacks - use the local version of TripAdvisor. So if you're going to Spain, use TripAdvisor.es and you should have a better chance of finding the places the locals love rather than the usual tourist traps. Of course you might need Google Translate if you don't speak the language.

Fantastic! Love from the Haight, Chelsea! Haight Street Voice is still alive and growing! Funny, love this idea of ask a local. I had the same concept for a book where you start with one person's question to a specific (live) person, get it answered, then ask that person what their question is and to whom. Great way to connect with people, yes! Keep going. y'all rock!
