This video IS truth. I have turned around impossible situations with persistent prayer, crying out, and prayer and fasting. I have been through some very horrible things that most people would never be able to turn around or recover from and through prayer have had miracles in my life. I have also had bad habits, addictions, and undesirable behavior that I carried around for 20+ years be changed and removed from me very quickly through prayer, fasting, and crying out. Habits and behaviors I was never able to break on my own in 20+ years. Too many people give up too quickly or do not have the passion and faith and therefor quit praying too soon claiming it does not work and move on. But it DOES work. My life would be a terrible mess right now otherwise.I am living proof. People are amazed when I tell them my stories.

I remember My car breaking down. I broke down in tears I had my little ones with me. If you are in God's Word I guarantee you will fall in love with it. It is important if you are in it everyday, Ask the Holy Spirit to guide you to the Scriptures you need, too, and you will receive that. What tripped me up often over the last years, since I was led out of religion, is listening to people that are in churches and some pastors. I have taken George Muller's advice not to read the books of men. Most of them are not inspired and written for $$$ only, and all the written doctrines of men will cause confusion and chaos, and God is not the author of confusion. Google the video: How to Have Great Faith by George Muller. It is a short narration of one of Muller's writings. I only listen now to people who really walk with God in faith. You will not find many preachers, pastors and other paid hirelings who have done this. George Muller didn't pass a plate around or ask for anything from people. He is not the only one who has done this, but he is one of the only ones who wrote an account of his dealings with the Lord for the benefit of the saints, as he called the believers. I am always torn by the perceptions of those who say ask & believe but don’t ask again or you have canceled it with doubt. Or praying as the persistent widow which is more my style. I never thought about the encounter with the neighbor. Thank you for that perspective. I sometimes read too many books outside the Bible about knowing God, Jesus and prayer that I get confused. There are some out there that I thankfully have the good sense not to even finish. But, you made it so clear using the perspective of Jesus 🙏

I see a lot of comments saying Jesus doesn’t answer your prayers. Jesus says to ask, seek, and knock. You have to give Jesus your everything it’s not going to be easy but you can’t be lazy with him. overtime he will talk through your Conscience, through other people, or the Bible. From my personal experience and others that I've witnessed, God does answer a lot of personal prayers. But the prayers that you are referring to are on a macro level and involve not just one person or even a few, but thousands or millions. This is much more complicated scenario since you now aren't just praying for a personal need for yourself or someone else that is accepts what you are petitioning to God.

As good an idea and prayer that is, I don't see God answering any prayer that infringes on the autonomy of so many another human beings.
