Because of you, Anna, when we are on our sailboat, we talk to any species that comes across our path Most communicative of all are dolphins (and the smaller porpoises), who will often keep us company for hours at a time (but typically only when they have finished fishing for the day). We once even asked one individual if he would pose for a photo and he jumped clear of the water, looking at us as he did so. We sometimes come across whales, turtles and crocodiles but it is clear that they prefer to avoid human contact. Some birds do occasionally visit, also, sometimes seeking rest on our boat if far out to sea, but no species are as communicative as the dolphins.

Hello Anna: You have been an inspiration to me in spirituality ever since I saw you with Spirit. I thought all life forms have similar emotions as we do, with variations similar to those within human species. Two years ago I saw a dog walk in to a pond and commit suicide. At first, I thought it was just going for a drink of water. I later learned that she was bitten by a poisonous snake and her new born babies died because of suckling! I admired the emotional depth and the courage of the dog. I still have photos of her just before and after death. It is hard to imagine the depth and variations in emotions in any life form.

Currently traveling in Mexico, there is a large cockroach 🪳 living in the bathroom, I noticed myself thinking I ‘wanted’ to get rid of it and flush down the loo, but same time I didn’t want to cause it pain, I put in loo but would not flush then just realized it didn’t want to kill it and actually it is a very beautiful cockroach with amazing resilience and will to live and massively intelligent, obv really don’t wish to be living with lots of them and management of species around us is important but for now I have left it be and reflected on the judgement or conditioning imposed upon me that they are somehow disgusting and i have apologized for this and kinda transmitted some Ho opono Pono. So appreciated you mentioning the cockroach here ❤

Such an articulate and compassionate teacher you are Anna. People like you sharing truth over beliefs with such grace and intelligence is so necessary in the here and now. Refreshing that ive never heard you reference "god." It's a paradigm that means nothing to me and would best be left behind for all it does is legitimize judgment and violence. The word god is used more as an excuse for bad behavior rather than a truth supporting unconditional love.

Flies are definitely precious and helpful in many ways. I sometimes think about what it would be like to be in confinement and isolation (in prison for example) and how a single fly could save one from madness. It would be the center of the universe in that instance. Just having another living creature beside you makes all the difference.

I am a 16 year old girl and I'm a Taurus. I am a strong beliver in spiritual energies and I feel a very firm bond with the earth. I like to meditate with animals because they make me reach inside of myself, they make me feel one with the earth. Now I can't say that I can truly talk to animals like Anna can, but I am very good at reading their body language. Though I will admit that I am sometimes too needy when I'm with an animal. Sometimes I will get angry and start shouting at the animal/s.😢I never hit them though. And in turn it makes the animal become scared of me, or they will even get aggressive with me, when this happens, I will just sit down by the animal, but at a safe distance and I'll wait until the animal pacifies itself. My family barely has a clue about how animals use intercommunication with humans. I don't know why most humans are so voracious (Selfish) that they look at an animal, and they can't see a live animal, with feelings and dreams of their own! Most humans have lost their connection to everything around them. A message to Anna: I'm really happy to know that you share my compassion and concern for animals. It warms my heart to see people who value and respect all living beings! May God watch over you Anna! 🩵

i feel like everyone likes big cats -- i think it's because they're mostly apex solo predators and it feeds our ego to imagine that we are also as capable. personally, when i went on a safari in south africa, i was drawn to the jackals. i love their energy -- bouncy, free and whimsical. they had a lightness in their step and they seemed so free. we did a bush walk and i started to automatically imagine how a jackal might experience walking through the bushes and i liked that feeling very much. there was also one particular jackal (or jackal family?) which had a call that sounded just like the joker from the batman movies and i loved hearing this particular call at night. it's weird because before going to africa, i never expected to love jackals so much. i hope that i also have some jackal energy 🙃

Hi Anna. I am living in France and I have a burning question for you. How to hunt animals, in total conscious. Can I connect to one animal spirit and ask permission to take one life. Animals like wild pigs, need to be regulated and are hunt all year round. Can you guide me or recommend some reading in order to take a life of an animal in accordance with mother nature law? Thank you 🙏🏻
@AnimalSpirit
@AnimalSpirit Жыл бұрын
Thanks for the great question. Yes, the so-called "sacred hunt" is possible, with the consciousness of the humans and the willingness of the animal species in general and ultimately the individual animal who offers their life. A good resource to look further into this is any book by Tom Brown Junior. By the way, don't be too ready to believe the mainstream stories/justifications for animal numbers being too great. For example, there is absolutely no "need" to regulate wild boar/pig numbers in Europe other than the fact that humans have taken over their natural habitat so there isn't enough space for the wild ones in the environment that is out of balance with predators almost completely extinct. Left alone, prey and predator species and all other aspects would come into natural balance.

@@AnimalSpirit Hello Anna I think your opinion misses two bits in between. My father was a big Nimrod and when i was a kid some sixty years ago every hunter in Germany dreamt of shooting a boar. With much less traffic and much more agricultural space they where very rare. Today with much less space for wildlife they are everywhere in numbers. To my opinion this change relates to the change of crop from wheat to corn and the much higher productivity of agriculture. Pigs are fattened out in the wild nowadays. And all of them guys know their way around humans. And another thing surely no one in Germany wants to have predators hanging around that can take down wild boars. So a natural equilibrium will not exist with industrialization. Grüße pl
@z7lucky1
@z7lucky1 Жыл бұрын
@@peterliebe829 You are right, we live the same thing, here in France. Wild pigs are doubling number every year if not hunted. Crops are a feeding paradise for them and no predators. We need to reintroduce wolfs and lynx…to balance the pigs number or hunt in well organised manner.

Oh Anna, I live in South Florida and I do struggle with those cockroaches (palmetto bugs, as we call them); they terrify me. It is quite irrational the intensity of the terror that they cause in me. I know they are harmless, but I just can't describe the anxiety I feel when I see one. I don't kill them, though, because I can't get near them. If my husband isn't around, I let my cats sort it out.
@AnimalSpirit
@AnimalSpirit Жыл бұрын
It might be a good idea to sit down quietly, with your eyes closed, in a quiet moment and imagine in your mind's eye a cockroach. Take yourself on a compassionate imagined journey of feeling what it is like to be a cockroach. You can imagine what it might be like to be inside the cockroach's body, what it is like to have six legs, hard exoskeleton etc. This imagined exercise (whilst far away from an actual cockroach) can help to activate your empathy and acceptance. Hopefully this will make it easier to allow cockroaches to just be themselves. As a separate exercise it might be good to find a way to understand the root of that fear and a process to move beyond it.

One question I've battled with for many years now: what about the tens of billions of animals humans exploit, abuse, mutilate and kill every year in animal agriculture? I personally believe that we should eat as little animal products as possible, out of respect for animals. We have so many other, better options available nowadays. How do animals see what is done to them?

I wonder what your interpretation would be. I was driving with my mom and a deer jumped out of the brush and smashed into our car right next to me. I was really shaken and somehow felt like there was a spiritual reason. The deer died. Now about three years later, I got chased by a wild bull and broke a couple of ribs. The bull also died. I’ve been a vegetarian most of my life and lived in harmony with nature as much as possible. they seem like extreme events in my life. Would you have any advice on how I should look at it or look at these animals in the future?

Extremely close encounters can indeed be a strong message. In this case it's nothing to do with death or your eating habits or your obvious care for nature. We can suggest you research the "animal medicine" qualities of both deer and bull - the best resource we can recommend are the books of Ted Andrews, for example Animal Speak and Animal Wise. When reading through what he describes, notice which aspects resonate deeply for you - and those will be the personal messages for you in particular, as it's different for everybody.
