Years ago, I heard an animal psychic who spent time working with feral cays and dogs. She said that when she explained to the older females what sterilization is and how afterwards they wouldn't have any more offspring, she said many were instantly into it and greatly relieved at the idea of not having any more babies.
@AnimalSpirit

That makes sense! Cat (and dog) mothers obviously care for their offspring and therefore feel distressed when their kittens or puppies have a difficult life; it's very sad for the mothers and adds to their emotional suffering,

I agree! I recently had a feline client whose humans told me they couldn't take her to their remote garden anymore, because she would become aggressive. In the healing and communication session I found out that her fear was not only rooted in her past (life) experience, but also in the uncertainty about the life and wellbeing of the babies she had already had and all the possible dangers they could encounter. It had become a source of worry and generalized fear for that cat and was triggered by stimuli in the garden like the smell and sound of other animals.

@@elijahjames8837 Yes, I noticed it when I began giving energy healing sessions to animals and pets. Because of the energetic connection information about their life becomes accessable. But they also communicate directly sometimes. More in images and feelings than in words, but sometimes in sentences, too. (Or maybe that's my brain's translation).

Please consider asking your dog! And not only Anna´s general opinion. I´m sure she would agree to that statement! I have asked mine and they all strongly declined. Only now, in old age (11 years) because of a serious medical issue the female agreed. The 3 men of the same age continue intact without any rivalarys or other issues. When she was in heat, i used to seperate them by staying somewhere else as long as needed. Usually 2-3 weeks. Just mentioning that I practised what i preached, though often inconvenient, for the last 10 years, honoring their wishes.

There are so many questions that stay open for me. I just made two wonderful female cats (7 months) sterealized and they came home that seemed totally another thing. In the behavior and in their spirit. They refused roasted chicken to eat. And they seemed scared of me too. Our bond was not like this. It will take a while I guess for all of us to heal and I think I will need the help of an animal communicator. What I feel at the end of the day is that is always us, the humans to make the rules and decide for them. And it's not only about giving birth and becoming a parent. And especially about cats that are able to hunt and provide food for themselves... What if a cat would prefer to live in the wood, intact, and not in a household being spayed?

Thank you. Very good explanation as to how animals and pets dont have the theorethical thinking like humans do. This explains a lot, because i was againt sterilisation as i thought it goes against the animals free will. However, side effects to their mental and physical health are often observed and theyre in detriment to the pet.

You have lighten my heart with your beautiful nature towards animals. We as a human race are so fortunate to live amongst these magnificent creatures, right down to the little ants . The bonding with a animal is so magical, I have had many dogs and horses ,everyone of them l had a special connection. The writer lobsang rampa wrote a lot about metaphysics ,he too had the ability to talk to his cats , which actually helped him with his books. Back then there were so many sceptics called him a fake. Time is changing, people are slowly becoming more spiritual and opening there minds. Great work,you will enlighten many. Thank you. I BELIEVE.

This was very helpful. I was projecting the thought of i dont want to rip out her organs just to not listen to her in heat every month. Seemed so inconsiderate. But I can see a clearer picture now. Thank you for your gifts and perspective. Also...a couple months ago my cat and i were butting heads bigtime...she would literally wake my baby up the moment he fell asleep just to make me mad. 😂it was so obvious. And then one day i just started talking to her like she could understand, I apologized for the rough yr we had had and told her things were going to be better and Id never leave her and let her know how important she was to me and my daughter. She smashed her face into mine. ❤ At this point we have clear conversations and she uses her eyes or a cackle sound to react. Its been beautiful. 💛 and now she HELPS me get the baby to sleep. Lol thank goodness cuz pheweeee that was a rought time❤ Thank you for stepping into your power and purpose in this life.

Hi Anna I have tried to say to people many times over the past few years if we could get leaders in the world to give military all over the world a different job description: For army personnel to help plant trees, help wildlife, teach us how to forage and encourage wild plants, bushes and trees in our gardens to thrive to teach people in cultures who haven't knowledge of what is good to be taught from those who have the expertise and to pass that on to others. For Sailors in the military to help clean occeans teach others how to look after the seas and wildlife helping all marine life to flourish. Air military to help teach how to keep the air free of polution and keep a balance of what is acceptable to keep air clean as well as stop cloud seeding etc. There are so very many military and ex military that have amazing skills to offer the world that is not hurtful or harmful. As well as others in our communities that teach better ways of teaching around having children and the respinsibilty of teach good moral consideration for all our children and those to come, so they have a bright future that is fair to all. Do you think this would or could be enough to make a difference? I don't have the platform you do or the wonderful understanding and wisdom in communicating with animals and marine life, but i absolutely want to help. In anyway i can. Thank you so very much for your videos and your absolutely kind wonderful compassion for those lives that enrich ours each and every day. I'm very grateful for people like you in the world.

Thanks for your positive and creative thinking and the feeling behind it all! Indeed if the governmental and military industries were committed to restoration and sustainability, the world would be in a kinder state. Whether or not that would be “enough” isn’t important on a numbers level; if their ethos, hearts and energy were focussed on the collective good, that itself would improve quality of life for all in the present moment, regardless of outcomes. You say you want to help in any way. Well every individual can, in their own daily lives with acts of kindness, compassion and connection. Scale doesn’t matter when it comes to what we contribute to the quantum field and what other lives benefit from our inner attitude and outward actions. Deep gratitude for your awareness.

@@AnimalSpirit I thank you for your reply I've spent time thinking of your views on sterilising domestic animals and i feel that surely their alternatives since domestic animals cover so many. For example: Cows come under that catagory and its not cows that are the issue. Its what we feed them. They are fed things like soya in their feed among other things then blame cows for global warming with methane etc. Well when any animal is given unatural foods they get flatulence. So its hardly the cows fault. Also to blame cows for abuse to them isn't their fault either. Also oxen breeds are on the decline too and not often seen in this country. Then their are horses and in the UK we breeds like shire horses are on the decline where we have tractors etc. Yet those horses were our heros in the first world war. Did you know that in India before colonial times India had sometime like 147 breeds of cow and are down to something like 33 breeds. And do i need to remind people that they put nutrition back into the soil. Especially since people build their homes on river banks and then pray it doesn't flood. When the natural cycle of areas around rivers are to flood every so often. Do you think when you speak to a domestic cat or dog, you could ask them what they suggest to help thei breed rather than nutering all of them? Perhaps dog and cat breeders that specialize in certain breeds should stop breeding them. Especially since those interbred animals often have health conditions related to this. I appreciate you wanting to lift the positive energy but honestly if you heard the video of those people in China who had their pets taken from them you see what these animals mean to people and while things like covid happen where people are forced to stay inside, their domestic pets are sometimes all the company they have. So there has got to be another more natural way and if i think of anything you will be on my list to tell as soon as i think of something. Not sure exactly what quantum field is, science holds little interest for me, after all i hear they have been doing for sometime now. As far as i'm concerned they need a good wrap on their hands or arses with a large cane, for what they have been playing with and thats me being kind. As I've never smacked or belted children, its not my style but for those grown people who should know better i would make the exception. Stay well and keep smiling :D

@@ChessLunatic Thank you, very much, for your comment and your dedication ~ I also kept our female dog intact but without breeding, considering it better for her health and well-being and hormones etc, and seemed strange this aspect not mentioned in Anna's video. Also the risks involved with any operation. Although being able to explain to an animal beforehand would I imgine be helpful and likely improve the outcome - I heard of a dog whose personality completely changed after spaying, for the worse, and her human really regretted doing it. And maybe some animals DO really want to breed. If they are all sterilized that's rather drastic! Tho indeed the rescue centre situation is not good. I didn't have access to animal communication when Two Sox was a puppy, just my aversion to hospitals/vets & preference for natural wherever possible. Some years later I did get the opportunity to ask her and she did not actually want babies, which was a relief to me as although I would love that experience esp if she'd wanted it, I wasn't in a good situation in my life to support her or care for the puppies properly. She wanted to focus on being with me and the other human who she'd grown up with tho he & I lived separately by then. Best wishes to you & your lovely communicative furry family

I've been taking care of many stray cats for years, especially female cats, and I can confidently say that, female cats are basicly hunted for sex by several male cats for days until they cannot escape because they are too tired, sleepy, hungry and thirsty. This is mostly how stray cats get pregnant. Both male and females really can't even eat for days and afterwards, the females had to carry babies so she is going to pregnancy with all the down sides right after that stressful and horrible condition. After birth she has to lick clean her babies' to stimulate peeing and she needs to protect all them time, keep them warm and feed them for weeks without leaving them alone even for a little. The becoming a mother thing is really not a lovely experience for female cats in the streets even though I could provide food, clean water and a safe and warm place to sleep. They almost never look happy, but mostly depressed and it is not dreamy as humans think it is. (But they all are amazing mothers and I am so proud of them

Dear Anna, I have great appreciation for your work. I recently moved back to my mom's house and we have a 6 year old male cat. He lives outside only and although we don't like cats (they hunt birds, make mess in the garden and howl at night), we took pretty good care of this vagrant cat until I caught him raping the neighbors 2 months old kitten. Then our relation with him went downhill (we stopped feeding him for a few days and told him to find another home). I have a friend who distance heals people and animals and he asked the cat to stop behaving like this or he will not get any food and he got a clear response from the cat that he does not care and "it's my life". He actually behaves like he does not care and we found him again with both those kittens, on top of them. He only comes by once or twice a day for food and, honestly, we'd rather he wouldn't. When I try to connect with him I get nothing, like nobody's home. I recently changed countries and left behind an adorable gouldian finch (a separation quite hard to handle) and I really cannot deal with such character of a cat. He probably has unhealed wounds and trauma (maybe other cats have done the same to him) but honestly I don't have the energy to deal with him. When I tried to connect to his spirit or heart it was like efforting whilst I do this with the bird I left behind because I love him and hope to perceive some form of dialogue. Thank you for being an inspiration and for any answer you may wish to give me. Blessings! 🙏💖

Anna showed she is genuine. This topic is delicate. I don't think I would like to be behind such decision for my pet animal and still think that as I would not like to be neutered and think it is not a 'god's given thing' (or nature's ways), I would not like to inflict such a thing into an animal just because the world we live in has been transformed into such a chaotic place. The sterilization to me is a unatural and paleative way of fixing things on the surface, leaving the causes of problems untouched. I think we need to tackle the causes of all problems in the world nowadays and that is the only way of start making appropriate changes. Thank you. M

What I am concern about most with animals being neutered. Is not that they will miss out on or even dream of having babys. My question is what happens to diversity of the gene pool? There is a lot of interbreeding in the feral and local areas in the cat community. Also animals don't over breed in their own area. I had a feral pregnant cat come to me. She would have died had I not taken her in and indeed I had no idea. She was pregnant at the time. I came down to find her in the living room. How she got into the living room is another story. I have no idea to this day as she got into the living room. Because she was in the kitchen with my other 2 cats. She had given birth to several dead kittens and nearly died because the last kitten was so large in was stuck. She had a emergency operation and was neutered at the same time. Which was the right things to do for her at the time and due to the circumstances. The kitten was born blue colour and very large. And the vet stated this was due to interbreeding. A lot of cat have large heads and short legs due to interbreeding. This is is concern of mine that over sterslistion of animals may equal less diversity in the gene pool. What are your thoughts? Also I have always had my pets steralised. But my experience with Nana the pregnant feral cat and my research and vets thoughts on sterilisation. Have got me wondering what our effect in this area is really having. A short term fix may be creating a ong term problem. I was very moved by your documentary. And understood before you said about Spirits name. I knew he didn't like it and the parrot effected me deeply. I went to sleep thinking about the documentary and woke up thinking about it. You have a gift and I see others around you cashing in on this. You have a gift truly and for you the animals come first not the human greed around you. Always be true to yourself 🙏

Thanks Trish for your response and care for the feral cat, insuring her survival! About your concern: the world isn’t going to swing all the way in one direction with breeding stopping. And cats/dogs do indeed overbreed in an area; we just don’t see the sad results because many don’t make it out of the drains and gutters or past the first few days of their lives. Seeing the huge number of starving stray animals in a poor country or township shows that natural balance is not happening. So I wouldn’t be too worried about genetic diversity as there will always be breeding. As indicated by professional sources, 70% of the world’s dogs are abandoned. According to the World Health Organization and the Royal Canine Society of Spain, of the 800 million dogs on the planet, 500 million of them are homeless. Promoting spaying and neutering isn’t going to affect the already existing genetic diversity amongst those 500 million, nor is even a tiny percentage of those animals going to be sterilised.

Humans also need to take on the attitude of the animals that Anna has spoken to. Humans that are unable to have children, adopt. Humans who don't want kids, don't. Humans who desire large families, stop and really think about it - remember the children you do have and the quality of our world we'll be creating if humans don't stop to think about overpopulation. Animals domestic, and wild are suffering from overpopulation of humans. Unless humans wake up and act, and think the bigger picture before having large families, the impact on our planet will not only affect the natural world, but the future of all future humans. Many, many challenges we all face today could simply be solved by humans not having so many children. It's not easy to change human behaviour as this is a complex subject, but to just begin to be aware and talk about this subject is worth doing! Animals suffer and sacrifice so much for humanity, let's give back and do something in return, so ALL living creatures can have a better future. x

I respectfully s t r o n g l y disagree ! Especially in the name of most dogs on this planet. I´m an animal communicator myself and an admirer of Anna and her work. I´m a dogtrainer and I live for the last 10 Years with a group of wonderfull Huskies. I have talked about this question to my dogs and to many others through the years. The very big majority including mine said : "I want to be a full/complete male/female"! Only serious medical reasons could have the effect to change their wish. Many absolutely despised the idea and saw no point in it. Wanting to have offspring was rarely the main motivation. Also by the way, the given exponential numbers are completely academic and unrealistic in nature, where many die young. One dog, whose Human had sterilized him without aking, answered : Since then, strong joy and exitement have been taken out of my live. Part of it is still there, but on a lower and more monotone level. Before, there had often been emotional and physical highpoints in his life. Comparable to how we Humans feel when spring arrives. This was now over..... There were few cases, where the dog said it had in deed been helpfull, but they had unnormal medical issues. In germany sterilization is only allowed if there are medical reasons. Not the wish or philosophy of the human! Because it had been scientifically proven, that those dogs have statistically a shorter lifespann. Probably because of weakening the immune system. Cancer is also more likely....The stereotype argument of mass reproduction is also not true for those dogs, who live with a human, cause anyway beeing mostly on a leash, they normaly can´t breed without human consent. I can not speak for Cats, because here my experience is limited. But most dogs I spoke to made it very clear : We want to be complete!

Thank you Anna for sharing your insights. Hello from Tiruvannamalai, India. I have been following you hoping to see more videos from you and am so glad that you've begun posting again. One question regarding neutering, what age is most suitable depending on the animal? I've seen that when attempted too young there are hormonal and other physical complications. Any and all thoughts would be appreciated 🙏

Thank you Saptam. As "Diane T" says in her comment a few down from yours, their bones should be fully developed. What age that is will depend on species. So I encourage you to research and/or speak to your vet about what the safe age is.

I am not not an empath but knowing that animals suffer and die due to human consumption of their flesh has convinced me that veganism is necessary for the greater good. Totally agree with sterilization but I always wondered how it works with castration because humans have to substitute hormones afterwards and I can't imagine that other mammals don't have bad symptoms when some of their hormones are missing 🤔

From someone that works in the never ending cycle of animal (dog) rescue, thank you so much for this! My only caveat is waiting until the animal has fully developed (i.e. bones are developed) as it can cause issues. P.S. Implementing what I have learned from you has helped me so much with the feral and terrified rescues in my charge as they heal on their way to their new home and loving arms.

Thanks so much Diane! Yes, in the video I did say it needs to be at a safe age physiologically. I've mentioned your point about bone development in a few replies higher up and ask people to research further. @AnimalSpirit what about abortions? I'm so sad, my kitty's momma was mauled by dogs - she was the only kitten left at my Mother's apartment community. So, they trapped her for me and I took her home. I had another boy kitty and he was there before him, someone threw him in a recycle bin and I happened upon him and he cried to me for help. Frida, she is fiesty and it's so sad, She's 6 months I believe...so tiny. Her and Zorro (the boy) mated and she's sooo tiny. I have a one bedroom apartment and feel so bad for wanting her to have an abortion, but our living situation cannot permit for babies, they'll suffer and she's so tiny- giving birth could possibly cause death 😫😩😭😰

Thank you for your kindness and giving a home to your cat - plus your commitment to their quality of life. Animals don't have judgements or beliefs around "right" and "wrong" on matters. Abortion in this case is the kindest thing for all feline parties concerned and will literally spare the lives of several beings. Of course both the male and female cats should be neutered/spayed as soon as they are old enough also. TNR (Trap, Neuter and Return) initiatives are very successful with feral cats/those who are not pets.

If your being honest, why not trap and euthanize feral cats and dogs? Like you said let's be careful not to project what we believe onto them. By the way; why would you have to explain anything about it to animals, to find out that their understanding on the matter? I havent had my male dog done. Ive been really unsure what to do. A lot of people keep their males intact now for health and behavioural (fear) reasons related to lowering that testosterone . So I've been on the fence for so long. Considering the 6 month chip first to see if it alters his emotions too much. He is always with me so no chance of getting any females into trouble. On the other side of the health consideration i also worry that he may be frustrated because of that testosterone and the urge to mate. I think some dogs just as in humans feel that urge stronger than others. I am so annoyed at the amount of dogs being given up to shelters every day whilst hundreds are still being bred for easy money. In the UK its around 1k a pup so everyone and their aunt are getting in on it without first knowing if there will be a home for them to go to. I cant believe they dont put a cap on it.

If so do you think its best to let animals die off from lack of reproduction or just to control the populations? Thank you for your time.

I'd love to hear your thoughts and insights on the health aspect of neutering/spaying. There is ample evidence that done too early it has negative consequences on their growth and joint and other issues are more likely to occur. Especially when it comes to domestic animals I'd love to hear an appeal to stop breeding them. Why do we need another cat or dog or horse born when there are millions that are homeless? I'm also interested if you have communicated with individuals or the collective of those that get AI? Dogs, cats, cows, horses? Thank you for what you are doing. I appreciate your gentleness and wisdom.

Indeed, as I say in the video, one should only neuter/spay "as young as is safe to do so, physiologically speaking". As "Diane T" says in her comment a few down from yours, their bones should be fully developed. What age that is will depend on species. So I encourage folks to research and/or speak to their vet about what the safe age is. Artificial insemination is quite an odd thing, worthy of another post for sure. Certainly I will make an appeal for an end to pet breeding in a future video; thanks for the idea!

thank you. i moved to a country with mandatory sterilization for homeless pets; the result is an almost zero rate of homeless dogs and cats. It's amazing. Most all the animals for adoption are a result of surrender by the carer, or animals from other neighboring countries. And these animals for adoption in shelters are also all sterilized. It does work.

i live in a country were they do not have forced sterilisation of homless animals and we still have 0% dogs on the streets and cats are picked up relitively quickly in to adoption centers, truely feral cats are very rare and with the new chipping program a way higer amount of of missing cats will be able to be returned to there homes. too a very high degree people here sterelize there outdoor cats without it being in any way mandatory.

@@skylarc8859 That’s wonderful to hear about such great animal welfare! What country is this? You will likely find that the shelters and animal rescue facilities who pick up strays automatically sterilise them before rehoming them, as that’s standard practice with adoption centres globally. Trap, Neuter and Return (TNR) initiatives also do great things to support feral colonies being sustainable and those animals being able to stay living their lives on the streets that they are used to.

Thanks for this information. I have now a dilema with chikens, l am going to buy some too get eggs but l was thinking, l can buy the tipical brown chikens the put an egg per day (which is not normal) and they don't have the urge to sit for having more babies. Or buy local chikens who lay less eggs but have the problem that every now and then they sit with this urge and they don't put eggs till the have the babies, and if you don't have a male chiken, well, they can sit there for a long time doing nothing. I don't know if l explained myself properly because English is not my first language. Hope you can help me with this.

I'm not quite following the details of what you say, but for anyone who is going to keep animals I ask them to consider what *relationship* you're going to have with them: one with mutual respect and benefit for both/all parties. Not just the human getting as much love as possible/as many eggs as possible/as much company as possible. So I'm in favour of supporting a more natural lifestyle for any animal in our care, and talking to them from the heart to explain situations and desires - to see what agreements can be reached.

It’s not an all-or-nothing situation. There are hundreds of millions of stray and homeless dogs and cats. There’s no way they will ever all be captured and sterilised, so there’s no chance of their species dying out for that reason. Our support of sterilisation is precisely to improve the quality of lives of those animals in dire straits and to minimise the numbers of them that are suffering.

Hi Anna. My son has been very isolated since the lockdown and when I meditate I keep getting images of dogs. He asked for a dog a while ago and is very caring towards animals. I feel however a little worried about the added responsibility and time involved in lovingly caring for a dog. I was wondering if you have any footage or advice on how to raise a young dog (dog training, their needs etc). We are a very loving conscious family and if we do choose to get one I want to do it right. What's your advice on raising a puppy or training an adult dog? I am particularly interested in dog training. What are your thoughts on it. Many thanks and blessings to you. ❤️
@AnimalSpirit
@AnimalSpirit 2 жыл бұрын
Thank you for being so responsible in your considerations before making a lifetime commitment to a pet! I highly recommend you do get a dog friend - but an older one (at least middle-aged). From an animal shelter, obviously. An older dog will already be socialised, need little to no training, and most importantly will have experience of how to navigate the human world of rules, behaviour and relationship (which can be very confusing for younger animals and take some time to learn.) Much less effort and adjustment time. When it comes to training, I don’t know of any specific things to suggest but can urge you to avoid anything that involves “dominating” the dog. Many training models take this approach, assuming to make us humans the “pack leader” - which isn’t appropriate at all. Far better to go for gentler, relationship-based training (positive reinforcement only) and trust your canine companion as the conscious friend that they are. All the best with your imminent doggie adoption! Do let us know how it goes. Thanks again for approaching this matter with such care.

i often wish i could snap my fingers and replace hateful ugly humans with an animal. i wish our world was such that animals could live happily without care of their numbers or any need of help from humans. like a Natural World, but i guess that would make mankind primitive again. this brings me to my general dislike of how humans have taken technological progress to its extreme. couldn't we have stopped when there was still plenty of wilderness and clean air? perhaps like mid 19th century? then we wouldn't have sanitary sewage systems or life-savings medical knowledge. i think too much

Thanks for your empathy and care. Perhaps it's not that we humans should have stopped developing technologies, but rather that our innovations would happen in a context of collaboration with and kindness towards other species and environments - for the well-being of all concerned. My journey with animal communication and wildlife conservation has also called for me returning to compassion towards humans as well.

Bit surprised! But what of the physical side effects? The sexual system is a component part of their basic biology. This needs to be looked at, as some vets have shifted their position as they see the side effects over the years from animals that have been sterilized. And in terms of dogs, we are with them all the time, so the animal proliferation does not really apply. I get it totally for animals that are not taken care of, and live on the streets or in a Sanctuary. Neuter them. But no need for domestic dogs.
@AnimalSpirit
@AnimalSpirit Жыл бұрын
This video applies to domestic cats and dogs at species level. Less than 1% of the world's domestic dogs live with human caregivers who are with them all the time. Indeed if breeding can be avoided with certainty in such situations, then sterilisation is not indicated. Meaning, for example, that someone's stay-at-home intact male dog will never get out through an open gate or over a fence or be off leash on walk outside of one's own property. At a wider level, it's not feasible that even half of the world's unwanted animals would ever be sterilised - which is why this advice is even more important, as it obviously only applies to situations where it's practically possible and available. It's an animal welfare issue on a global level. In my experience, all animals have compassion and understanding for the greater good beyond their own personal lives.
