I began my investing journey with your book , in 2014 , and most of my initial stock choices were made on 3 simple things that i learnt - increasing sales , OPM , EPS. Thank you for being my teacher. 🙏🏻 My question to you is : 1. Is ROCE not a better measure of returns for a company since it also includes debt? Taking the example you gave earlier , if on Equity capital of 1 lakh , & debt of 9 lakh ( Total capital 10 lakh ) company makes 30,000 profits , then ROE 30 % ROCE 3% ? in this case, not making effective use of debt is telling that the company is not making good capital allocation. is it not?

After that portfoilio 1cr-10cr Annual return 20% means 20lakh-2cr Now i will spend 20% of the profit i earned ie 4lakh-40 lakh. After 10cr+ portfolio Annual return 20% =2cr+ Now i will spend 30% of my annual retun that is 60lakh+. Incase kisi saal m negative return ayga toh m pse khrch nhi krunga. Sir profits ko enjoy bhi krna h Toh ap btaye strategy sahi h.

Sir, Behaviour Psychology helps. Our brain attracts and responds better when we use 1 rs less then even value. This generates sales. In book Thinking fast and Slow, by Daniel Kahenmen he did this experiment. I sold by Flat using same technique and this strategy attracted buyers who were searching house in OLX. I put the price at 1999999. Rather 20 lakhs, the consumer qwery increased by 32 percent.
