I've met Gary twice in Livonia, MI at a guitar clinic. He was so down to earth and his sound was ungodly. He was playing Rick Springfield and every time he palm-muted I felt like there was a boa constrictor in my chest cavity tightening its grip on my lungs. It was painful and I liked it.
