Yes move abroad, your religious views are something that will never be tolerated in Pakistan in the foreseeable. Learn one thing from history: in a land where you do not have freedom of your views and you feel unsafe because of such views, then it is only fair you move to different lands/pastures where you can keep your views without fearing for your life. That's why the human rights were created, and yes it is your right to move to a different country solely based on this. I suggest you do some research on claiming political asylum in Europe or North America. All the best, bro!

To all the people out there. Be straightforward about everything prior to marriage especially religion. You might be worried about your safety but other people's lives aren't petty either. If you lie about faith or inclinations then Nikkah becomes "Fasiq" i:e it loses its credibility. In addition, Nikkah is declaration of lawful marriage between a "Muslim man" and a woman of Abrahamic faith so if one party is Atheist or Agnostic etc Nikkah doesn't even happen technically and the party concealing the facts is guilty of deceit.

Suggestions to the Atheist guy. 1. Try to migrate out of Pakistan ASAP. You should only live at a place where there is respect for you. Also for the family members, start asking questions about religion with them. They will start to get an idea about you. Eventually you can disclose it to them and they will not be shocked 2. For condolences there are many options a. You have my deepest sympathies b. I can understand your pain c. Everything is temporary, you will get over this loss d. I am saddened by your loss, so on and so forth 3. For the wife, Junaid bhai's recommendation is spot on. Don't go for arranged marriage.

I myself went through this situation but now i am an animator while having other qualifications that my parents asked, but i made myself so strong in animation that it dominated other fields.

Why is it ethically wrong to do what you want to do. I understand that societal pressure obliges us to engage in areas of academia which our parents advise us to undertake. However the fact that we are forced as youngsters to follow the elders orders is more about the lack of ethics existing on their parents side than on the youth who are being driven away from their passion.

If I may add something to the cricket question My passion in cricket started going down 10 years ago after Pakistan lost to India in the semi final to the point where I don't even know what is going on in cricketing world (I live in KSA so I guess that helps) but the major reason of my distance from the game was also the attitude of Pakistanis and Indians on social media. However, sports fanatics are everywhere including football which was quite evident after England lost in the Euro final but the reason why I can still stay in love with football is because no one makes a personal attack on me as Indians do to Pakistanis (and vice versa) And for the love of God we need to stop obsessing over this one game, I wonder how much more we could have achieved had we invested same amount of time and money in other sports

For the Athiest Guy: - You doesn't need to console Someone as you believe there is no life afterwards. Or if you need to, just say the line that "Sab Thek hojaye ga". - For the Marriage, You shouldn't marry someone without telling her your belief because at some stage of life it will be open to her and it can cause alot disastrous effects then now. There are many Athiest girls like you who you can easily find on social media through their posts. My suggestion is not to go for a arranged marriage but find someone, meet them and then ask them about their belief and if they are compatible with yours and then go for it. And yes there is always a risk that someone can expose you but that is how it is.

There is no logical reason to leave islam. I think instead of letting people we know or write to us continue the path of darkness, we need to ask people who they are an athiest ( that is considering you wish well for them). Usually athiesm in pakistan is a result of ptsd from bad parenting which people attribute to islam. 2- I highly doubt the guy even knows what athiesm is. Athiest means denying the existence of a creator, without proof its a bit ridiculous to make that claim. Agnostism is probably more appropriate for people like these.

While I am aware that sometimes parents do force their kids into marrying a certain person, which does not turn out right in some situations, please dont always portray maa baap ki pasand ki shaadi as “sex kiske saath karna hai” because it is about so many other things. They see a person suitable for their kid, because they KNOW their kid in and out. Even if the kid is an adult, parents will always know what is best for their children. And that is why it leads to some bickering between child and parents on shadi business. My point being: please dont make it seem that maa baap ki opinion becomes completely useless just because the child has grown up and can make decisions.

In middle classers "to flex " is not the only reason people have to do degrees like from which they can start earning after 4 years of their education Not only that to support the family but also to prove to them that I am getting paid by the thing you people are spending money on one of my friends wanted to become filmmaker and wanna study in NCA but because one of his cousin who is settled in UK and he merely met twice or thrice told his father "Uncle is ka scope nhi hai agr kr b gya to 4 5 saal k baad kuch kama ni skay ga " Bhai aaj kl to Tiktok videos k reactions ka hi scope hai wo kr letay hain phir Now beside of this s "financial" issue there is a thing more "Time of choice " The time when kids are asked about the field they wanna chose they are studying in 9th standard (about 13 -14 y/o) How a 14 y/o kid can make the decision of his whole life and suppose you had made a wrong choice then after matriculation there is no way back
