I have a silly question: We keep pictures as a remembrance of our loved ones. Then why is it considered wrong to have a picture or statue at home as a remembrances of the love of our life, Jesus Christ????????

Who says a picture of Jesus is wrong anywhere if He lives in our heart and we love Him I have pictures of my parents children and grandchildren Jesus Above All.I grew up in a home with just one picture and it was JESUS

My great grandmother had pictures of Jesus as well but I chose to not have images of Him bc I don't believe the earthly images are of Him. The 2nd Commandment states: “You shall not make for yourself a carved image, or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth. You shall not bow down to them or serve them, for I the Lord your God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children to the third and the fourth generation of those who hate me, 6 but showing steadfast love to thousands[b] of those who love me and keep my commandments." Unfortunately, a lot of ppl do what they have been raised to or what other ppl do instead of seeking & knowing The Truth. Search the scriptures & ask The Holy Spirit what the Truth is. After doing this, I have chosen not to have worldly images of Jesus. The choice is your own, although The Truth is The Truth & what The Word says what The Word says.☝️❤️🙏🥰
