I've hear you guys rant about AES50 when talking about the X/M32 in the past. What's your preferred digital audio protocol, or at least the one that you see as the most reliable and accessible amongst the manufacturers?

Has having JBL as your main PA brand stopped you from getting the gigs, compared to having d&b, LA, etc? When I come to the US next year, can I join you boys on a gig? I don't care if you get me just pulling Muilti's.

Question Where did you sell the used gig and console... How to start a production company in sound ..
@giovannimercuri51688 ай бұрын
I’d love to hear an answer to the second question!!
@mitas34848 ай бұрын
Answer to second question: Money, passion and skill. All this equipment cost thousands, and in the beginning gigs are far between. Buy some gear, sell it at a reasonable price and over time upgrade. It takes years to get to the point where gigs come in regularly and you have PA worth hundreds of thousands. No need to go out and buy expensive equipment if you don’t have customers for it, so scale as you go. Hope it helps

I’ve installed ui24r before and the client didn’t like it and ended up getting an A&H something or other. Dm3 would be my preference if only because you can use it without an iPad.

What is your opinion on the use of point source and analog desks in the year 2024. Also. Remember Turbosound? Do you guys carry any of those? lol
@michaelkurczeski13738 ай бұрын
Analog desks is niche these days. Certainly not a smart business move. Point source will never die, it just won’t be the main PA in an arena or long throw setting. And I had a turbo sound TXD(blue) pa waaaay back In The day. I also liked their VRX knockoff the TBV123-AN but it blew HF too often so I moved away from them
