Actually Koopy it does hurt if the coconuts are thrown, but it depends on the enemy they're facing and where they're aiming the Coconut Gun. Also, thank you for defending Mario. According to the Ask Mario continuity, chicken nuggets. According to canon sources, Bowser’s Inside Story has various spicy drumsticks as healing items, and cheese restores BP. And the Cheesy Drumstick restores both HP and BP. So I’d assume spicy meats are his go-to.
