I love hearing what you have to say about grieving the life you had when you were alone. I feel like a terrible person sometimes because I find myself missing certain aspects of the solitude and privacy I had while living alone. Not because I don’t love my partner, but there will always be compromises/sacrifices when living with others.

@@RudiBerry I had my second at 36 and honestly, I’m so glad I didn’t have kids any earlier than I did. I have several good friends who have had their children in their late 30s and 40s and it’s been awesome.

I'm a nobody and never DM people I don't know, but for some reason I asked in response to your story while you were in Chicago where you and your husband had gone to eat. My favorite response to pushy family members asking me when my husband and I are gonna have kids is to say “not yet, but we are getting in lots of practice!” Which works very well to stop further questions 😂
