The lack of pressure on the opposition QB so far is something that could come back to bite us. Williams had a reputation as an aggressive DC with creative blitzing and constant backfield pressure. We haven’t seen much pressure in his time at Arkansas so far. What gives?

Fans are smarter, generally, than they are given credit for. I remember last year fans were talking about how terrible Enos and Kennedy were and media folks were vehemently defending those 2. Absolutely willing to die on that hill. And they were fired for being god awful. I love ask Mike, but gotta tip your hat to fans sometimes when they are calling it like they see it. 2-10 in 1 score games over the last 2 years or so. Bad decision making on head coach calls. Like Trey Biddy said. Seems like Pittman gets it wrong 75 percent of the time on big calls. PS I love Pittman and hope he straightens it out. But absolutely get why fans are saying the things they are.

Arkansas does not make good half time adjustments a lot for years. Maybe the fans dont have a agenda Mr. Speculator Mike. Maybe they tired of missing field goals, or tired of leaving points off of scoreboard.

2:10 -- Exactly. Context ALWAYS matters. We lost in 2nd OT on the road in a hostile environment to a ranked team, but it was also clear that we were far more physical and athletic than OSU. Those mistakes can be cleaned up. This isn't the same old thing we've seen over the last few seasons, and it's obvious to anyone who knows football that this Razorback team has tremendous upside and will only continue to get better as the season progresses. We put up 600+ yards of offense, managed to hold an All-American/Doak Walker winner/Heisman candidate to 2.9 yards/carry and under 50 yards for the game, and it wasn't until the 3rd quarter that Oklahoma State was able to get their 6th year QB in rhythm. The haters are going to nitpick everything in hindsight because that's what Monday morning quarterback fans love to do. None of that matters moving forward if this team continues to develop and improve together. Frankly I'm not even the least bit concerned at this point. #WPS

Spending time criticizing fans for criticizing the team seems unproductive. It would be better to analyze the game and let fans have their own opinions about what they see. Constantly defending the program makes it look like propaganda. Bottom line is this team lost again and has dropped so many close games it tells me there's something wrong with the leadership because they can't win in critical situations and that is undeniable. We can talk all day about how much they are improved but Improvement comes with wins and that's what they need to start doing.

Mike..it has nothing to do with what was on the other side...geeeesh! The other side didn't cause the muffed punt return, the low snaps, the interceptions, the fumbles, the inability to kick field goals. It's Pittfail that doesn't have a clue. There is more to coaching than hiring good coordinators. One is dicipline, two is motivation, three is recruiting, four is critical game time decision making, five is the ability to develop players, not cause players to regress. i can be critical as long as its to myself of the team through a football lens. Hog football is the one sport that actually affects my mood. its not as easy as oh well. at the end of the day though it is a game these players played hard, were slightly out of shape on that hot turf, and made just one too many mistakes and still almost over came them. i believe in this team and i will be critical (in private) , but i will also give flowers. Jequindon Jackson is an amazing player and an automatic end zone scorer as well as being good in space. the bad however he fumbled three times. that unacceptable period. its only the second game of the season lets see how it plays out. remember the barometer for this season was 4 and half wins. anything over that they over achieved as sad as that might sound. its year one in petrinos system. any system in year one is hard! two years of petrino and huge nil push could take us to new heights, but it seems like some of the donors do not like Pittman so the writing might be on the wall

Arkansas is so good at almost winning almost all tough games. No one can tell now if Pittman will be gone after this year. Mike certainly doesn't know. We have played only 1 real game. Way too early to say Pittman will probably be back. No one knows at this point. Arkansas could finish anywhere from 3-9 to 7-5. If 7-5, maybe 6-6, Pittman will probably be back. Those records are not likely but possible. Less than 6-6 and Pittman will definitely be fired or will resign.

I had the hogs winning that game. It was very disappointing to see the hogs lose again. The same mistakes keep occurring under SP. His teams are undisciplined and lack any killer instinct. If the hogs are up by 14 in any game, under SP, there is a very good chance they will lose the game. I have supported SP, for fours, and not said anything, I am now done, he has proven he CANNOT finish or win close games. The sad thing is Auburn, A&M and LSU don't look very competitive. You can change the coordinators/players and you still get the same undisciplined mistakes, year after year. I use to believe, I DON"T anymore.

Sam Pittman has only won 2 of his last 12 one -score games. We aren't talking about blowing a game here or there, it's a proven record of coming up short. Coaches get paid millions to produce wins.
