I'm an NBSB too! I'm already 24. Turning 25 next year and it took me long enough to realize that being single is also a gift. Ms. Nikki was right, the wisest move to do while waiting is to improve yourself. Do the things you want, things you love. I realized na kapag nasa relationship ka na, there will be times that you'll have to compromise for the other person but never ever lower your standards. He will come at the right time. There's just no use in rushing things. I've tried and I failed. Haha. 😂❤

I'm 26 and NBSB. Been longing for the right one since I was 18. there was one brave soul but I thought he wasn't the right one. Getting to hookups was also not my thing. I tried a dating app and realized how high were my standards and i uninstalled it thinking I should've spent my time on other important things instead. Now that I'm seeing my friends getting into relationships and having a family, I also have thoughts and what ifs about the decisions I made in the past. Should I have confessed to my first love? Should've I accepted one of my suitors? Those thoughts come more often these days. People keep on asking about my love life and it's actually frustrating sometimes. But for me being single is also a blessing: no heartaches and lesser priorities. This is also the best time to focus on building yourself.

Thank you for this, Nikki. I just recently turned 32 last month. Though I was happy for another year, (by God's Grace), there's that inevitable flip side about it. It's another year of: 1) When are you going to get married? 2) You are not getting any younger, you will miss the train. 3) You're too picky, lower your standards. 4) Your chance of bearing a child is low. 5) You'll end up being old and alone. Yeah. 32 and still single. Sad thing is, people kept on going about how I am past my prime. But still, I refused to be anxious about all of these. There's also a sense of fulfillment and happiness that only people who are single can obtain. I don't think it's because you can't get into a relationship. It is because you chose not to YET. You know what you want and you don't want to settle for less. For those who have been single for so long, for NBSB, you did not miss the train. You will never miss it! How could you? I just laugh knowing that you are just 24 and still NBSB, I just want to say to those who are just in their 20's and still NBSB that you are still fine, you have a long way to go. I am speaking this from experience, my advice is to don't waste your time. Think of ways to develop/improve yourself use all the time that you have now discovering yourself and loving yourself, which unfortunately I didn't do when I was in my 20's, looking back I feel like I have wasted so much of my time and youth. You will all be okay 20's ladies, take it from me now that I am 37 and still NBSB.

Yes there's no problem of being single and to wait for the right one but the problem is yung mga tao sa paligid mo they keep pressuring you na "so kailan mo balak mag asawa", "hindi na tayo bumabata", "naku tatandang dalaga ka nyan", "gusto mo ba maging madre", "ang tanda muna mag asawa/mag bf kana! Sa totoo lang wala lang to sakin dati pero pag dumating kana pala sa age na ganto mapapaisip ka na din at magtatanong ka sa sarili mo! Dati I'm enjoying being single pa pag niloloko pa ako ng mga kaofficemate ko d ako affected pero ngayon fucha iba ang pressure sa paligid mo minsan nakakahiya na sabihin NBSB ka haha iniiwisan ko din yung mga family gathering jusko dagdag sa pressure ! May mga nanligaw naman sakin yung iba nga may mga itsura pa pero sa tingin ko ang may problema tlga yung sarili ko hindi ako ready pumasok sa relationship that time d ko pa sya priority marami kasi ako plan sa career ko and marami din ako problema kinaharap dun ako nag focus, sabi ko sa sarili ko nun darating din ako sa mga relationship thingy na ganyan wag lang ako magmadali! Meron pa nagsabi pa sakin nun na lumandi nman ako medyo nakakaoffend sa totoo lang pero nginigitian ko nalang.. Dumating din sa point ang pagiging desperate ko kasi nga payo sakin lumandi daw ako so nagtry ako online dating pero masasabi ko lang na hindi ko tlga sya trip or not my cup of tea, ang hirap kasi makahanap dun lagi sa maling tao ako napupunta ! Mapapatanong nalang ako na baket ganun if kailan ready kana tska naman walang dumadating ? Minsan tlga may mga bagay na pagsisihan mo na sana nagtry ka, pero lagi ko nalang iniinsist sa utak ko na siguro d binigay sakin ni god kasi d ko pa time, kasi may ibang plan sakin si God and may better person na nakalaan para sakin❤ Just want to share lang naman and natutuwa lang naman ako sa mga comment na marami din tao nakaka experience ng gantong feeling.

My standards aren't high but are specific. I need someone who loves God more than me. We need to walk together with the same values and bring each other and our future family to Heaven. We don't have to have the same interests like favorite music genres, tv shows, or hobbies. If I don't find that person, I am not "settling" for single life. I may be called to it by God. I won't "wait" for God to give me someone forever because I am open to single life if that is what God wants for me. It is lonely at times but God fills in the loneliness by blessing me with so many more people to love.

Im going through this crisis right now, but not out of the need to "go with the flow," but the need to have someones to lean on. Ik very well that I shouldn't get into a relationship just for the sake of a relationship. Its just that recently, my shoulder's are getting heavier each day and I cry almost each night just longing for someone to accept me for who I am and this mess I call...me. Not an NBSB but my last relationship was 10 years ago. I was just 16. I just call it a puppy love. I don't even know if that was really love because I was too young. These past few months, I suddenly felt lonely. Like, I felt like wanting to have a family, mostly a child. Whenever my family pressures me, I just say that I won't marry. I'll just get knocked up. The truth is I felt like I will never find love. I tried online dating but I am the type of person that wants to look in the eyes when I am talking to someone. It just didn't work for me. Guys, if you’re still in your 20s and still single make use of that time to improve, know and love yourself. Follow your dreams. You have all the time in the world to take risks and explore things. Also, galaw-galaw din. Hindi kakatok nalang si Mr. Right sa pinto para yayain ka mag date. Learn how to fling and flirt in a good way given na you like that person. Hahaha 24 NGSB. Ang 1st gf ko ang mkakakuha lahat ng 1st times ng buhay ko like 1st kiss, hug, dance, holding hands, v card and etc. Minsan gusto ko din mag ka gf, minsan prng ayuko din.😂 ksi cguro gusto ko muna maging stable, yung ready na lahat before I settle down. Cguro di ako nag kaka gf ksi wlng nagkakagusto sakin. di dn nman ako gwapo tas introvert pa, shy type din haha. Pero marunong ako magluto, maglaba at ng mga gawaing bahay. Pag ako ksi kung magiging gf kita it means ikaw na till eternity. Pero cge lng waiting muna. For Gods perfect time with the right person. "Love is waiting til we're ready".

Swerte yung magiging asawa mo kuya sa future dahil may goals at pangarap ka sa buhay. Inaayos mo yung buhay mo ngayon, alam mo yung mga dapat mong gawin to better yourself.. para kung sakaling magkagirlfriend ka man, hindi na nya kailangang buuin ka dahil kumpleto kana.

Not all you see in social media is exactly the same way in what's really happening on behind those pictures or in reality. Besides you don't even have any idea what's going on in their personal life, inside their houses. Everything you see is just a shallow view that is being projected by others thru social media. If you are a shallow person you would easily believe in what you see but if your deep enough there's so much you can see that no one sees. It's just a tip of an iceberg. In pictures you see them so sweet but behind the camera they always fight or quarell always or have some family issues, etc. Don't be fooled.

Idk but I am proud sometimes that I am NBSB, but sometimes I questioned my self tho if will I ever have husband and own fam, Inaamin ko mataas talaga standards ko hahaha hindi lang sa panlabas pati narin sa kalooban. I know that’s one of the reasons why I am still single and work/career muna gusto ko na unahin at atupagin before pumasok sa relationship. I’m on my mid 20s na 😊
