my son and I frequently visited the cult till he was about 8 months old and they thought I should start discipling him with a rod and I thought not along with a bunch of other things like when a man doesnt want a woman to speak they just hold there hand up by their side and woman will stop talking.

@@cathy2earth yeah I believe children should be disciplined but not at 8 months old. When they reach an age where they can understand right from wrong that is the right time.

@@cathy2earth how did you get to know the community? Do you consider returning when your son grows up a bit more? I never seen a man silencing a woman during my visit, but I guess if it occurs it is to always put peace and biblical order of things before the mincha (as opposed to the wordly chaos and willful division of man and woman)

@@Eurobunker my stories a bit strange. So as a child I was sent to a troubled teen program that was really abusive and as an adult I connected with other kids who went through the same. Dr Phil did a talk show with a few and some1 commented that it seemed like 12 Tribes. I googled and found out how crazy it was and found out they were near by. I wanted to mess with them and I called the deli to be a bi/(# and the sweetest lady picked up and I couldnt be mean. We started talking often, then daily and then multiplentines a day. I live about 3 hours from them but near the airport so then she would do the airport runs and visit. I got that mom connection I always dreamed off. There is so much more but...paperwork. Anyways slowly we got closer and closer and I liked my son to have the community but the rod thing made me uncomfortable. My mom figure eventually got married and it was like having a family. I got alot more of a family experience and I feel exposed to a lot more than moat visitors. I've exchanged over 3000 emails with this lady. I think they will take over the community when the current leader die (in Canada). She does all thier finances and controls alot of money for Gad and her husband in well known throughout. I also struggle with my ow mental health issues which TT is not for. I cant see any situation in which I would return. I've seen a very harsh and cold side of the TT that I'd rather not get in to but....
