In my personal experience of doing “surge Ops” on a carrier with round-the-clock flight ops. I found that about 72-hours of high-tempo operations was about my personal limit…Fatigue is a real killer of flight crews, both military and civilian.

Thanks for the answer to my question. I kinda felt the successful use of HIMARS happened alongside the timeline when HARMs also started to be in use, so I assumed thay they would first use pre-emptive strikes with HARMs in an area to have the Russian's SAM turn their radars on less frequently or risk destruction, and then you would have reduced the risk of Russian SAMs being able to try and aquire HIMARS when they were launched and on route to target. Which would help explain why systems such as TOR or S-300 have not been able to to intercept HIMARS because they were already surpressed by HARMs, but as alluded it could be that HIMARS is just too fast and small to be effectively targeted by these systems.

took me by surprise, as someone who once back seated an F-4 with plumes of after burner pouring out the back now gloating about his cars MPG. Who else but Starbaby!!!

Way back in ancient USAF history…The F-106A doctrine was to launch its Falcon missiles in pairs. A radar-guided and an IR-guided. They carried a pair of each, plus the “Genie” nuclear weapon. Under the “Six-shooter” program, some F-106s were armed with an internal M61 “Vulcan” cannon.

Hey what's the channel mentioned at 49:30? My commute is pretty long these days and I need more content

15:00 "low cost cruise missile" Have waited for this for more than 20 years. Not happy that it arrived, but expected it. Next up? Forget artillery barrages before infantry advances. A container releases swarms of heat seeking, short range, anti-personnel drones. Drones fly into trenches and bunkers. Most are frag, some are incendiary, a few are HE. If they find armour, target scopes and sensors for a mision kill. An effing swarm of flying mini-claymores with infrared and night vision, with no desire to live to fight another day.

Interesting his comments on the a50. It seems far more involved these days

The T-7, or a presumptive FT-7 is an interesting idea, but the FA-50 exists, and South Korea seems more than happy to license built its products. Ukraine could have it in production years before an FT-7. Either way, it would still need a high end follow up, and if they go Korean the KA-21 would make sense as the next step since I don't think F-35s will be on the table. Gripen really does fit their dispersed operations need though, unless the F-35B becomes an option.

Would a directed energy weapon be possible to use the EMP principle to knock out UAS electronics? Without rendering “friendlies” being equally impaired?

Training PLAAF in ANY capacity? GO DIRECTLY TO JAIL! DO NOT PASS GO! DO NOT COLLECT $200 (or pounds, euros, etc.) They can figure out that pilot shit themselves. Preferably as painfully as possible.

@StarbabyAirPiracyProductions2 жыл бұрын
Anything about the B-21, obviously. Also, "the true secrets, the important things. Fourteen words to make someone fall in love with you forever. Seven words to make them go without pain. How to say good-bye to a friend who is dying. How to be poor. How to be rich. How to rediscover dreams when the world has stolen them".

Weird he would not take METEOR. It literally beats the pants off amraam in every context. Range, end game speed, no escape zone size etc. America should have got itself the METEOR. They might find they need it against China if their own long range and not as good as meteor missile is not in service in time

Just a thought, not that I don't enjoy Starbaby's commentary and extensive knowledge on things but is there any chance of possibly doing a similar AMA on Ukraine/Aviation with someone else, even someone from a different service? It would be interesting to see different perspectives on what's going on. Again, nothing against Starbaby at all, it's just a thought.

@@10percenttrue Thank you for.being proactive and interactive about this. I think one thing that makes a difference is that I was trying to listen in on the feed just using my phones external speaker. Had I been on headphones, I'm sure it would.kf sounded better. All in all, 10/10 for content.
