i was raised with 7 brothers. Out of 4 children, I have 3 sons. With my brothers, there were no leftovers. When my sons were teenagers, I learned that you take a bite to claim it. I leave leftovers in the fridge and I end up eating it all because my husband doesn't eat leftovers and/or "forgets". Otherwise the food rots.
