I pulled a muscle between my fingers at the second fret! I did not know Classical Guitar could be so dangerous. :) Anyway, I learned I have a lot of stretching to do and this seems like a great exercise to help.

I get somewhat frustrated with my local home city (forgive me) as I get the impression that it is difficult for "music experts" to answer basic questions - for what reason I do not know. That is why I am gratefull for proper instruction. 6 Nov. 2021

These excersizes wil really help a great deal. Thank you very much for the information. I have been looking for some time to find suitable finger excersizes as I - up to now did not find any really proper helpfull information on you tube. I do need to start practicing again and really had no idea where to start and what to do. Please pardon the Moji below - for some reason unknown to me it seems google decided to put it there (on my behalf)?.

Thank you Tatyana! Good exercise tip. Do you recommend doing it with metronome?
@tatyanaryzhkova3 жыл бұрын
First do it without metronome to be able to control and to feel each motion well. After it works good for you and you are able to do it quicker keeping the same good quality you could practice it several times with metronome. This exercise is more about conscious feeling of stretch and less about being in time

These kind of exercises have always been my achilles heel and they cause a lot of frustration in me. My biggest problem are fingers 2-3. I can’t even let a fret apart between those two even at the 8th fret and as much as I make an effort to separate them, finger two keeps sliding towards the other one. I suppose I should keep trying until they start to increase their range, but its too painful 😭

Is it necessary to avoid muting the adjacent strings? I tend to touch them when doing this! Thanks!!
@rodrigoarreguinguitar91433 жыл бұрын
Hi Tatyana 😀 I have been practicing these excercises for a few days and I wanted to ask you how the thumb should work because when I play the 2-3 stretch on the 1st string it is almost impossible to use it. Is it ok if I just don't place it at the neck?
