I don't have enough attention to listen to all of this. Can someone summarise please? Should i do neurofeedback or not?

38:00 begins the summary. Essentially, medication is more effective than neurofeedback (NF). More scientific data is needed to prove the long term benefits and effects of NF. If you have the time and money for it, it could be worth a shot. However, don't make great sacrifices to try NF over other established treatments for ADHD. Note: you can choose double the playback speed in the options to speed this video up. That's what I did.

"Slow Cognitive Potential" That´s wrong - It must say "Slow Cortical Potentials". In general I must say there is a lot of truth, but Neurofeedback is not that much dependent on attention and motivation. Of course outcome is better with motivation. It´s especially the case with SCP-Training. There is Neurofeedback with Z-Scores done and it shows a lot of benefits. It´s sad that this important approach is not mentioned. BCIA has put it into their curriculum and became a mandatory part of the training.

Advice to potential patients - DO.NOT.DO.THIS. This is a dangerous practice - the way the brain can be influenced and changed is still largely unknown. Despite all the pop science rhetoric, neuroscience is still largely in its absolute infancy. Take it from me - whatever problems you might be experiencing, messing with a bunch of idiots and crooks who don’t know what they’re doing and don’t care, just isn’t worth it.

Soo you'd basicaly choose narcotics hands down..fully aware of the side effects. .you don't want a potential solution...you want the lifetime narcotic bandaid, hit or miss approach 🤔 why hasn't science, big pharma and fda looked into this decades ago...I feel like its bc they don't want a cure. They want to sell you thousands of dollars in pills annually for life.

Tell that to the 1000s of people who have successfully completed a cycle of NFB and swear by it. Your fears are paranoid and unjustified.

As you aren't a doctor and have NO CREDENTIALS, KINDLY SHUT THE F8CK UP. You are ignorant and uninformed on this topic and presumptuous. NFB is 100% SAFE. IT HAS *NEVER* BEEN PROVEN TO CAUSE ANY KIND OF HARM. The worst it can do is nothing but I've never heard of a case of a person undergoing a set of NFB sessions and getting zero benefit out of it. Feel free to research and corroborate this for yourself. Please stop speaking out your ass. I doubt you're any expert on this subject nor do you have a single credential. You're just a fearful fool. BTW, neither do I, but I'm not presenting myself as such either. Your source is literally: Trust me bro Very scientific. You're a blanking idiot.
